About Crafting Worlds

Crafting Worlds is the creative hub of Emmy Award-winning director Tristan Pope, where tech, lifestyle, gaming, photography, and innovation collide. What began as a passion for storytelling and performance has grown into a trusted platform for honest, in-depth reviews and behind-the-scenes content—designed for real people, not polished personas.

With a growing audience of YouTube subscribers, 240,000+ unique monthly visitors on the website, and a loyal following across social platforms, Crafting Worlds punches far above its weight. Whether it’s lifestyle office and home studio vibes, testing the latest mechanical keyboards, exploring cutting-edge mobile photography, or diving into the evolution of tech intimacy, every review is fueled by curiosity, transparency, and a touch of humor.

Our work has driven major results for brands and many others, thanks to a no-fluff approach and a highly engaged audience that sticks around. From the home office to the gaming desk, we test what we use, and we talk to our viewers like we’d talk to our friends.

As Tristan likes to say in his chair reviews:
“If you’re 5’10, 180 lbs from a little muscle—and… cookies—this chair is for you.”

That’s the vibe. Relatable, honest, and human.

Never Be Alone: An AI Slop Money Grab
That forgot games are supposed to be FUN. My cousin and I logged into Never Be Alone looking for a zombie survival game to play together. About ten minutes later, we quit to the menu and uninstalled it, and here I am. So that went well. Can we play now? Within seconds, NPCs were dumping… Read more: Never Be Alone: An AI Slop Money Grab

Enshrouded 1.0 review: My cousin and I already lost ourselves in this world. Now we want to do it again.
My cousin Jdog and I have played enough survival games together that we should probably be better at leaving the house. We get into these games with every intention of making progress. There are places to explore, equipment upgrades to work toward, and some horrible thing somewhere that needs killing. Then we get involved in… Read more: Enshrouded 1.0 review: My cousin and I already lost ourselves in this world. Now we want to do it again.
Awekeys shine-through metal keycaps review: gorgeous metal keycaps that glow?!
I’ve used a lot of keycaps at this point. PBT, ABS, cheap sets, expensive sets, and several generations of metal keycaps from Awekeys. Metal is still one of those materials that completely changes how a keyboard looks and sounds the second you put it on. The newest Awekeys metal keycaps take that idea in a… Read more: Awekeys shine-through metal keycaps review: gorgeous metal keycaps that glow?!

The BenQ ScreenBar Halo Only a few products can claim to revolutionize the workspace like the BenQ ScreenBar Haloo. Holdfast: Nations at War Console Review, Bayonets, Banter, and Bloody Brilliant Chaos
Right then, boots polished, musket loaded, tea brewed, let’s talk Holdfast: Nations at War on console. Big thanks to Anvil Game Studios for sending over a code so I could spend an entire weekend doing my best redcoat cosplay and blasting baguette enthusiasts into next week. Honestly, my serotonin levels haven’t been this stable since […]
BodyCam Review: When a Shooter Gets Too Real
BodyCam is a hyper-realistic first-person shooter that really leans into the “body camera footage” vibe. Remember that viral gameplay clip everyone thought was actual real-life footage? BodyCam basically delivers that look, for better or worse. This indie PC title (in Early Access) throws you into gritty close-quarters combat through the lens of a shaky police-style […]
ASKA Review: Viking Colony Sim With Big Promise, Real Quirks (This is NOT Valheim 2.0)
https://youtu.be/K-aLqR4JO6U ASKA drops you on a stormy shore as a tribe leader with a hammer, a couple of half-frozen villagers, and a to-do list that never stops. You build a settlement from nothing, assign jobs, stockpile for winter, and hold the line when monsters test your walls. It is Early Access, still growing, and it […]
