Affordable 30$ Mobile Photography Lighting vs the Profoto C1 500$ Scam

This video is about the Profoto C1 “Mobile Light” scam.
It is overpriced and marketed to rip people off, riding the wave mobile photography trend popularity.

I use their marketing video as a baseline to show how the shots they took can be “replicated” with our own styles of shooting of course with LED lights 1/8th the price.

Not only are they using crappy false promises about what an LED is PHYSICALLY capable of their marketing material is using false advertising DSLR shots instead of smartphone’s on their website.

This is NOT about the photographer Brandon Woelfel who I think is a wonderful photog, this is about Profoto and shady pricing/marketing practices toward the mobile photography community. The whole point of mobile photography is to have affordable and portable items to spur creativity. The Profoto C1 light is the OPPOSITE of that.
