TAB AMA TAB AMA - I AM JOB!

Geez, it already started. Um favorite Smite character and it better be Hel because she is the best ever.

My favorite is Fenrir, even though i don't play him as much. He was the first character that really 'clicked' with me and I figured out what I was supposed to be doing and where, and when, and how etc!

Any funny, wife-approved stories involving the kids?

Hmmm how to choose. Well, as many of you know, I actively include my kids when playing video games. I let them stream with me sometimes, and I've caught some good video of Taylor (6) killing bunnies in Minecraft and crying.
My son, age 4, is extremely smart, even beyond that of the 'sponge' mentality that children inherently have. He sets traps around the house for his mother and sisters (he caught me once and didnt like the result) usually involving string, magnets, and a toy of his that has some sort of hook. It is his absolute delight to catch people unawares, have them get tangled, and then jump out from where he's been hiding for upwards of an hour and yell "Gotcha, now your goin to jail Bad-guy!" My 8 year old is already a teenager, unfortunately, and also the biggest drama queen you'll ever meet. SHe's picked most of this up from her mother, but also to blame is her grandmother who is a foster parent for troubled teen girls. So when we go to visit Grams, we also get to visit with anywhere up to a dozen 14-17 year olds. Lovely huh?

Is your forum avatar a picture of you?

Yes that is me back when I was young and beautiful. (aka thinner) One of the first pictures i sent to my almost-girlfriend at the time, now my lovely wifey.

Favorite vacation taken without the kids?

My wife and I shoved the dirty little cock-blockers off on grams for a long weekend and went to Tenessee with Brigga and his girlfriend. Whilst there we enjoyed fishing, drinking, Gatlinburg, drinking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, spelunking, and a hill-billy rollercoaster! Was a blast!

As a parent, how do you balance family time, personal time, gaming time, etc?

I only have my significant other and balancing all the different obligations and personal time is still problematic.

Firstly, I have an amazing, and reasonably tolerant, Wife. She supports my gaming passions more than I could have hoped for. She knew before we were married that games were my passion, to the extent that I was, and still am, creating one with my brother, Remy. (maybe its that she hopes that I'll be a millionaire one day from it) From there, I have to try very hard to manage my time, and often times, I will admit I do a poor job at time management. I have found that playing games with the kids is a fun compromise, cause even if I'm not playing, watching them and teaching them is still fun! Beyond that, I do work 2 jobs and go to school, so sometimes when I get home, I go into Papa Bear mode, demand a coke zero, and sit down for some game time, and get out of my way.

Now I feel bad for disturbing you in mumble.

Favorite class in any game?

You didnt disturb us! Favorite class, that is a tough one as I think I'm generally an all rounder. In MMO's i typically think of myself as a tank, though DPS calls to me at times. In D&D I've always favored classes that have high skills and high supportive roles like warlords, bards etc. In smite, I find myself playing a lot of Assassins, but thats due in-part to my jungle role which calls for Assassins on the regular.

I think that my real call of any and all classess that I have the most fun with would be assassin type characters. They are more than just 'sneak, attack, backstab, your dead, /teabag.' And the reason I am so drawn to them is because of the ultimate BADASS, Artemis Entreri, via RA Salvatore. Drizzt sucks. Entreri Rules.

You lookin forward to the "birds and the bees" talks to your kids?

Weirdest thing you´ve seen taken out of somebodies body?

Well, I don't work in the ER or med surge, but I have seen some strange things. Top of the list would include a 10 lb turd (we weighed the pt before and after, it was the size of a large cantaloupe), an eye polyp, and I got to treat someone with chlamydia in their Colostomy. #gag

Any pointers for an up and coming father to be on being a gaming dad?

Well, funnily enough, when my son was born, I got he great idea to offer to hold him a TON when I wanted to play WoW. I would sit him on my lap, let him drool on my arms and grab at the mouse/keyboard/whatever else he though he could reach, and if he got fussy, I could bounce him on my knees all the while keeping him securely fenced in by my mouse arm on one side and WASD arm on the other.[DOUBLEPOST=1428428864,1428428558][/DOUBLEPOST]
And also your best blank stuck in a blank story

My sister got stuck in a toy car when she was 20-something... She is a Nuclear Physics Engineer, married one of the same, has always been 'Miss Perfect' and yet when her ass was stuck in that car and she was hunched over laughing/crying/begging for help - we pointed and laughed. Priceless.

Why does everyone ask this question?! Lol

I'm with Miley on this. I think it's a little off-putting for most new readers, especially as an opening question. That aside, Sheeld wins. It begins and never ends.[DOUBLEPOST=1428433278,1428433152][/DOUBLEPOST]
Is your name really Job?

I read it as job until I remembered Lawnmower Man. I think the dudes name was Jobe.
