Why don't we just agree that the young folks are all the best. We need our own youth squad within Arcanix. All the 20-something year olds are cramping our hip young style and fast, rock n' roll life. ;)

MEME, Most Epic Members Ensemble

That should be the name of it

Hi! I'm Keith and I've found you guys through youtube looking for Guild Wars 2 podcasts and am applying to the guild. I'm newer to MMO's but the world of GW2 has sucked me in and I plan on fully immersing myself in it. The only other MMO I've played so far is SWTOR which I LOVED but couldn't bring myself to pay a monthly fee (which is also why I love GW2).

Welcome to the community Keith.

...Oh what the heck I'm going to introduce myself too!
I'm Raz, I joined the guild around the end of July. I might be the youngest person in the guild but don't be fooled, I'm the most epic youngest person in the guild!

Anyway, a bit more serious now.
I'm a 16 year old student who is studying Industrial Sciences at a Belgian High School. I just participated in an international school project in which I'll most likely end up giving lectures at 3 other schools (Istanbul, Spain and Romania). Also I've started with thinking about my thesis (pneumatic exoskeleton, but since that seems to be quite expensive I'll end up doing something else). I'm hoping that I'll be able to get into MIT after this, I even want to get a PhD in Computer Engineering. Hmm, I'm bad at French and I'm not the most social person at my age (that's mostly because I have a hard time with getting a long with other people of my age).
I can do amazing stuff with computers if I'm feeling like it (for instance getting free access to paid international satellite TV).
Also, I grew up with a very high intrest in electronics as a kid (an effect of Asperger's Syndrome). Always disassembling things to see how they worked.
I'm pretty happy that I'm able to play with you guys, I already see you all as a family *octo4*
I think I want to be on this guy's good side. He seems like one who could one day rule the world, whether we like it or not.

Sorry for the double post, but I see that I haven't done my intro yet.

My name is BJ. I'm a happily married, 30 year old father of 3, soon to be 4, children. I live in Kansas and work at a life insurance company.

Which makes me and my life sound really boring, but I don't feel that way. I've never completely grown up and I'm OK with that. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps reserve. No, I never killed anyone. I'm Ok with that, too.

My gaming started with an 8 bit Nintendo and the original Legend of Zelda. I hate that Nintendo keeps making Zelda games because it keeps making me buy their consoles. My first MMO was WoW. Started in vanilla just before BC hit, played until the final couple months of WotLK. I took a break from them, then recently got the itch to return, but without a monthly fee. I picked up Diablo 3, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Picked up GW2, and I think I have a winner.

I'm a completionist type player. It bothers me to see unexplored areas on my map or incomplete achievements in my profile. If I'm playing alone, I'll drop everything to help or group with any guildie that needs anything, anytime. I typically play between 9pm and 12a central, but I have been known to go longer if I get in the "zone." Last night, I was up til about 2am.

I look forward to getting to know everyone here, in game, and on mumble.

I somehow managed to totally overlook this thread until Keleynal posted, hehe. Thanks for reviving it!

My name is Rae. I'm happily married to my best friend (Anarok), 9 years together now. I live in a very tiny cow town in the rural areas around Chicago. Both my husband and I are unemployed and living on the good graces of his parents until we can finally find work again which is why I am not often on Mumble as much as I'd like. I keep odd hours as a sufferer of chronic insomnia so I'm always tired and always awake LOL.

My gaming started exactly like Keleynal's did. *highfives for Zelda* My first MMO was Everquest 1 and I played that from late Planes of Power until Lost Dungeons of Norrath killed it for me. I've played several MMOs since but I've usually always committed to them for several years. I tend to stick to one game and pour all my passion for gaming into it but GW2 is an oddity in that I still feel like I can go play something else now and then, hehe.

Let's see.. I like a lot of random things when it comes to tv and music. I don't really have any set tastes. Either I like it or I don't so it makes it hard to list things out. I write a blog on GW2 and my experiences as an Elementalist (tyrianraene.blogspot.com) whenever the writing bug hits me. Other than that I'm pretty boring but always seemingly busy.

I have a lot of hopes and plans for my future in GW2. I want to do more WvW, I want to try sPvP, and I'd love to do more dungeons than the two I have done. I'm working to make more free time around my playtime with my husband and the friends I brought over from EQ2 and WoW so hopefully I'll be grouping with you all a lot more very soon! *ponysmile:

Hey all!

I'm Jay, male, 20 years old, 5'10", right-handed, left-eyed, black hair, social security number 02...never mind that last one.

Currently I'm a college student living in RI, although I am originally from MA. Unless you want to go waaaaaay back, in which case I am originally from Korea.

Just found this site while looking for more GW2 communities, and I'm looking forward spending more time with you guys! I'm having a lot of fun with GW2, but it's been getting kind of lonely lately. I'm often on my mesmer (Reynard Espen, named after the trickster fox), but I'm planning on at least touching all of the classes. Recently I've started to play a guardian, but I'm still fairly new at that one. Also a big fan of engineer...who am I kidding, I like all of them. Feel free to contact me in game if you need an extra person to do anything (although I imagine I won't be able to participate in everything PvE has to offer since I haven't touched on all of it yet). And by "feel free to" I mean "please"--I'm always up for playing with other people!

Hi everyone! Thought I would post a quick intro first.

I'm Nova, 26, originating and playing from GMT+7 (thought I'd leave the rest for you to guess).
Came across you guys after running around until I lost my breath.
I hope I could be a good contribution for everyone here.
I have more about myself in my application, so please check it out!

Hello everyone,

I'm CMAC, my real name is Chris but throughout my years of gaming I've gone by CMAC as combination of my first and last name. I'm 34, I live in Houston with my wife and daughter. I started playing video games when I was young and have played computer games of all types for almost twenty years... omg IM OLD :p

So, I started playing mmo's with WoW and played for almost six years and got really burned out. I totally stopped playing everything until some friends got me into fps'ers like BF3. Then, when this game was coming out some friends through BF3 were gonna play GW2 and I was like, what the heck. I loved it, more than they did and I was left in the desolate wasteland of being guildless.

Since, I have been looking for a guild I can make a home and when I saw your description of what you are trying to do here I was really impressed and I hope that I can make a positive impact if I am accepted into the guild.

I saw that I need to start to make a contribution on the forums first, so this is my first attempt.

CMAC

Hello all! my name is Sean and I am currently living in Michigan attending a community college. I plan on moving to a bigger university within the next year. At the college I am studying Computer Hardware and Software repair, and I plan on minoring in networking to help give me a better chance at nailing down a job.

Right now my job sucks, I work at a grocery store called Meijer in the produce section (maybe you've heard of it, only has a chain in the north), so I can definitely answer any questions you may have on fruits and vegetables :p . I only average around 30 hours with good weeks. My bad weeks give me only about 20 hours, which is why I have quite a bit of free time to do the things I like such as working on computers, going out for a nice run or going to the gym, and of course... Guild Wars 2.
Once I get my associates in computer repair though I do plan on working for a bank. The hours and pay will definitely be a lot better but that won't but until next year.

As far as my personality goes it's quite simple. Like I said, it takes a lot to make me angry so feel free to throw in any jokes you want, I won't take them to heart. I understand the difference between someone being serious and someone just messing around, and even if you are trying to offend me I won't care at all, so have fun saying it as I walk away.
So to sum it up i'm pretty relaxed. People say I am quiet and shy, but I'm really not, I'm just always in a pretty laid back mood, and can definitely be talkative with people I know. But, that doesn't mean I won't be talkative to strangers, gotta get to know people somehow right?

I do like to get out of the house quite a bit with my friends, but because a lot of them attend universities it is hard to get out sometimes because a lot of them work and are busy with school. A few of them play GW2 but they are very casual about it, just sometimes hop on to do PvP or maybe form a PUG dungeon.
The ones who don't play GW2 though go to a few of the big name schools, so it's a lot of fun to attend some of the parties on the weekends (if I can get work off)

Hello!

I'm Curtech. I've had people presume my name is Curt before, but it's actually Kevin. The real origin of the name Curtech comes from what I used to call myself way back, Curtains, and a friend of mine back then, Techy. When I grew up enough to figure I didn't want to call myself Curtains anymore, I combined the two.

I am 18 and just started out college but instead of stereotypically partying I stereotypically play video games!

I started gaming when I was 3, so that somehow ends up with 15 years of "experience" although I didn't get into online gaming until I got interested in Warcraft III when I was 13. My first game ever was...Donkey Kong Country on the SNES, I'm pretty sure. Hard to remember back then.

And now I've somehow found myself on Yak's Bend in GW2. I'm somewhat busy, but I still find time for it without much problem.

I came across this community and it seems like something I would like to be a part of. So, I decided to make an account to see how well I fit in here. I don't usually make introduction threads (I prefer to just jump right in) but I figured I would do so here.

Also, I've noticed you have pony emoticons. I'm not sure whether this is a good or a bad thing.*lick:

Well you picked my little blowjob pony. Soooo you tell us? :eek:mg:

Hello my name is Kyle. I normally play my ranger Drystyn. Just looking for so fun new people to hang around with. See you all in game!

Hello, my name is Christopher but since I always to expect to find at least 4 other Christophers wherever I go I go by Topher to help simplify things. I already have a lvl 80 Guardian and a lvl 80 Thief. I am currently working a Warrior. I'm looking forward to finding an active guild that runs dungeons and in general just having fun. I am a HUGE fan of PvE content. I was in the 3rd best raiding guild on the Shadowmoon server on WoW, and on top of that I was in the top 6 in dps in a 25 man raid as a Ret Paladin on the release of Dragon Soul without ANY Firelands Heroic gear. Not saying that to gloat just to express my love for PvE content. I never stopped just pushing forward and having fun in it. Also should you guys wish to know anything more about me you can find quite a bit of my life story on my profile page.

Yo im john, new to the guild wars 2 scene. Hoping to have some fun and throw some fire at something.
