My name is Brandon. I was an IT Pro and gamer, but now just a gamer. I'm 29 but I feel 45, and I'm engaged to be married in May as long as no murders are committed before then. I never played GW1 but I was waiting for GW2 for what seems to be an eternity. I got to Tyria and got into a dead guild, but stuck with it. Now I'm trying to be Arcanix.....

Hey I'm Folli. I really fell off the mmo train after I stopped playing Everquest years ago haha. I still miss it sometimes! In my free time though I like to play gw2 (obviously) and I'm trying to make new friends. A friend that started on here with me already ditched so I'm lonely. (Que music) I hope to see you all in game and maybe get to know you all. I love reading your post on the forums and watched the pod casts weekly up to launch. Great stuff!
 
<~~~~Thivas here, 18 years old collage student. I can tell you how thivas come out. Thiva... is a Greek city... and thats total unrelated with my name. Although i live in Greece. It came from THIseas VASileiadis my full name. Thiseas is an ancient greek name. For those who don't know it, yes i killed a minotaure and yes i took Ariadne with me, and yes.. i forgot to change my ships mast and because of that... my father commited suici..... AAAAAAnyways, happy new year -.-'
 
Apparently, most of you are hardcore gamers. I thought I was hardcore with my silly WoWing and Skyrim play, but alas, I still have yet to reach the ultimate "nerd gamer" status, though I am now a basement dweller, so that's something, right?

I am heavily considering becoming Arcanix, but shall see how this small guild plays out. But I so far love what this community is about, and it's active, which seems hard to find a solid, active and very friendly "guild" in a new game. Anyway...I am Kaspyn (Brandi) and shatter all sorts of stereotypes when it comes to female gamers. I love hanging with the boys, did 6 years in the military, and am now a full time college student. I live with my GF and our 2 cats, one of which only has 1 eyeball but is more fluffy and poofy than you would believe, the other is older and loves attention and face kisses.

I am loving GW2 and see myself playing it for a long time to come, as long as the home I find is active! I look forward to meeting the rest of you guys and having some FUN!
 
I wouldn't say we are hardcore, just that we all love gaming with friends so we find stuff to do together as much as we can. We have been branching out to games other than gw2 to accomplish this.

We have more females in this guild than any other guild/game I have been involved in. It makes for a really good mix of personalities. And our Gm is a cat person which shows up on almost every podcast so that's probably a plus in your favor :)
 
Then this is win-win for everyone, especially me, hahaha! Do you guys do D3 at all? I get into it hardcore and then switch modes, but I like to have folks to run around with and farm in Inferno, even though my gear is not great.
 
Hi everyone! My name is Ryan! I am a Sophomore in college studying Astrophysics at Colorado! Pretty snazzy stuff. I just started to REALLY play Gw2 this week, and it has been a BLAST. When it first released, I bought it and played it for a bit, but didn't get very far. Now that I am realizing how addicting this game is and I will more than likely be on it for quite awhile, and this forum seemed like a cool place to chat with like-minded people! I love to sing when I'm not straining my eyes on a screen or crammed inside heavy textbooks, and I also love skiing and have just started a couple months ago training for sprint triathlons...so there's that! Maybe I can gain swiftness by doing so ;)

I know. Bad/corny joke. Welcome to my world.

Anyways. Me in a nutshell! You guys all seem really cool, and I hope I can become a contributing member of this forum, and all that jazz.

New to the forums, but have been following alttabme on youtube and I'm familiar with tristans old history of work in Machinima, etc. Joined because I've been looking for a community for Guild Wars 2 that is active, fun, and love doing crazy events. This is my first post pre application, thought I would make my pre requirement posts matter and not just post crap to get my app in ;) looking forward to seeing what this community has to offer.

Hello, I'm Wilson. I stumbled upon the pobcasts on youtube yseterday after coming back to the game. I really enjoyed them and thought I would check out the forums.
