Wildstar Wildstar Business Model Revealed.

I am ok with this. More than ok. In fact, I'll end up paying the $132 for the first year in an annual bulk, and most likely won't have to pay for another month after depending on the gold to CREDD translation. Buy CREDD with gold early with low rates, sell as inflation pops or use them for the cheap prices listed.

Yeah, No idea why they would release it now, but they did.

SO it's a EVE online business model.. So the business model is I can us in-game gold to buy game time or just use real money and not worry about grinding large amount of gold to pay for game time.

I did like this feature in eve I do hope the mentioned monthly large patch updates are world changing and not a season one time thing.

I'm slightly confused here, am I able to spend extra money and convert credd or w.e. back into gold like in gw2? That's what it sounds like, so I could spend lots of in-game money to buy things before other people.

Other people need to buy your credd, otherwise you get nothing.

Yeah, it's a GW2 gem to gold conversion, but in a much higher cost frame.

Yes you can buy credd for real money, then sell it for gold in game. Or you can make gold in game, then buy credd for gold and use the credd to extend your subscription.

I like this plan a lot it gives people more choices, plus the name CREDD is quite catchy.

Also no cash shop no pay to win items, I'm liking this game more and more.

I wonder if ESO will have a similar system??

“The CX is unique in that when a player wants to buy a particular commodity, they will only be able to buy that commodity at the lowest currently offered price, with no awareness of who’s actually selling it. Once the stock of that commodity at that price is gone, players will then be able to buy from the available stock at the next lowest price.”

This sounds very similar to how the market worked in GW2, which I absolutely HATED!

Also, "He did have one last thing to mention which is sure to upset more than a few hopeful players: WildStar's 2013 release has been officially pushed back to Spring of 2014. But the good side of the delay is that this means Carbine is serious about getting everything packed into the launch game, rather than doing so prematurely."

Damn.

Well, at the moment this is ONLY for CREDD. There is nothing else to buy. So while the market is similar, you can always just go back to paying the monthly sub like normal and won't have to bother with said market.

Hmm I'm not super against this but I still don't like the idea of some people being able to spend more real life money for advantages. Yes I understand that people would just buy gold illegally but by making it legal many more people will do it.

Ya if you want to sell, you will have to make sure and undercut. It will be very volatile for a while then steadily cost more gold per credd as people get gold and max level.

It will be decent because it will be server based. Depending on the server pop density will determine how volatile it is.

Yea like I said I'm not fully against it, just hope the economy stays strong
I can see the AH be server to server, but the CREDD to be system wide. This will actually be a neat way to see if it will normalize every server's economy to the "global" standard, without making it deflated to all hell as a global AH (IE: GW2).
