If we had 40 active people, I'd be down for the app. But at the moment, we're still building up to that point. We will not be able to get enough people for it as it is now...

HENCE OUR RECRUITING! :)

I'm around for it. Although, even if we could field 40 people, could you imagine 40 people who have never even played the game trying to kill raid bosses playing classes they have no clue how to use? They really need to use people who are already in the beta and have at least a basic understanding of the classes and game mechanics, if they want to get any proper testing done.

Not that I'd turn down an invite to play the game, but still...

They're really looking for the top end raiding guilds that are transitioning to WS. This is directed primarily to them. They will be able to tweak mechanics in their favor pretty quickly, as they know how to theorycraft on the fly and tweak as needed. It's actually really impressive from people like World First guilds and such.

just apply moar dots

But Gyoin's right, definitely aimed at 'established' raiding guilds switching to WS

I would assume they'd give you at least a weekend of beta access though, at the very least they would need to let the tanks know what/how to establish proper threat and.. also let the healers know which button to press during boss fights

I'm totally down! You just push the buttons that aren't grayed out in order of largest number in the tool-tip, while also moving out of red circle/square/rectangle/lines. Easy mode.

Ya like when Cata was in beta they let some world first guilds come in and they threw raid bosses at them. Took them like 2 tries to understand the mechanics and they beat a few on the first or second tries. They did get to gy zerg though.

That's a bit different though. That's a game that those guys have 1000's of hours invested in. Throw that same group into a Wildstar raid, blindly with no experience and I doubt they'd kill it in 2 pulls. Chances are it would take them days, if not weeks. Because not only are they learning boss mechanics, but they are also learning new game mechanics and class abilities at the same time. :p

Don't want to derail the thread, but what kind of roster size do we have atm? Is that something you've been keeping track of yet?

Off the top of my head, we currently have about 25-30 people who are going to buy and play WS. Thing is, not all of them are raiders. We build on the foundation of community, then build our raiding group from that (at least that's the plan). With the flow we've had the past couple weeks from our recruitment threads as well as our podcasts, the numbers will grow. We're on a slow growth pattern right now (mostly due to no hands on game content to provide). After we get our hands on beta, whip up some videos (ESPECIALLY a group activity like our 50+ charr video from GW2) we'll have tons of recruits.

Most likely we're quite a ways from release too. So there's still lots of time to build a roster. :p
