What are you guys going to do to spend the week instead of frowning upon the remaining time until the awaited release of Guild Wars 2?

lol they set a release date. then they say "ok we'll start 3 days earlier for you" then they say, "hmm, how about a possible extra 3 hours early" and its still not enough for you?

HAVE YOU NO HEART??!!?1??

but to answer your question, I will be doing what I have been doing for the last month. posting on here, looking at videos of gw2 and counting the seconds till launch.

I totally hear you out man! But it's such an anxious-fest all throughout!

Just trudging through work, I got about 4 more days of work until release so keeping myself busy with that and Minecraft.

Or why not turn this one around think positive. What are you MOST excited about for the impending launch?

Me personally, I am super excited to finally make the guild finalized, invite all the members, and pay attention to guild chat versus the Stress tests where I jump in to sPvP and ignore the cool links of armor because I know it doesn't matter.

This is why your the leader Tristan. Turning the suckiest parts of life into good things haha. Everybody, change of plans!
I'm most excited about finally seeing all your reactions to the in-game stuff and events. Might be material for epic roflcopters.

I've gotta make it through the first week of classes. First year teaching this grade, so I've got plenty to keep my occupied. That said, I will be staying up all night Friday to make sure I get my character names reserved, my alts made, and my fun enjoyed!

I'm excited to actually do stuff that will count on my main. And the epic first night when we all run around in our groups and meet up in the level 15 snowy area to zerg the place.

Well, I'm looking forward to that "I can't believe this is real and actually happening" feeling I get whenever a game I've been looking forward to comes out and I get to play it. The last time I had that feeling was when Skyrim was released, and I didn't want that game half as bad as I want Guild Wars 2. I don't know if my mind is ready for so much joy.

I'm excited to have things matter, finally. Sure, the tests are amazing, but the fact that my 30th fall off of a jumping puzzle will be a "learning experience," and not something that's going to be wiped away is awesome. I'm also an explorer, so I'm excited to start filling out the map finally, permanently.

Also, finally being able to walk around and take my time without the "OMG I only have 3 more hours!" feeling will be amazing. AernaNet put soooo much into their scenery and cities, so much of it is alive and there are so many nooks to find and see random things in. I can't wait.

Great point. Tristans positivity definitely rubs off on everyone around him. That said, besides all aspects of the game itself...i am looking forward to continued good times with the guild, future events, videos and podcasts! If i have to pick an aspect though....EPIC WvWvW!!!!!!!

Actually, the extra week kinda works out for me. I have a ton of stuff to take care of before I can go on the GW2 launch gaming stretch that I plan on taking. I pop in and out of LoL when I get a chance for a quick match and I'm trying to get ahead on my program for class so I don't have too much programming to work on next week.

Like Nahku posted, it will be nice to be able to finally log in and not have that sense of urgency to try and do a little bit of everything as fast as possible because I'm limited on time. I'm looking forward to actually following the story lines, exploring, crafting, and I have a feeling I will be spending a LOT of time in WvWvW.

That is cool, however in firefox for me the particle distribution is about 3 inches to the right of where my mouse is on the screen.
