WoW Anyone!?

So I am still sorta new to Alt Tab Me, but I was wondering if there is/was a wow scene for the guild! If you don't know me, hi I like to sit in the free part of mumble all day and you have probably seen me camping there! (I'm Prikliedik)
I am thinking about getting back into the game and trying some of the 60, 70, and 80 content, but I need a full raid and I like this guild and want to get to know people. If anyone is interested come say hi to me (I swear im in Mumble 24/7) or drop a comment on this post!

This group seems to be mostly post-WoW. And post GW2 and SimCity.

We take that "Outlasts release dates" thing pretty serious, apparently.
 
just a thought to get back into raiding, since I plan on joining the guild for wildstar and it would be nice to play in the raid type environment and get to know people before the game drops!
 
I miss raiding.. I've actually thought about picking up MoP as I still know a ton of people playing.. but I just keep coming back to not wanting to be sad that it isn't like BC :p
 
Would love to join you if you do pick up the game, any thoughts on doing some of the older content?
 
I was actually considering going back while I waited for Wildstar. I can't say yes for certain yet until I get to China and get settled in.
 
wow is like crack... you never actually quit... recently my wife pestered me to reactivate my account and succeded... now she wants me to buy MoP... maybe I shouldn't have decked her toon in full heirlooms lol... oh well... here blizz, take some more of my money.

I totally agree. I kept telling myself "I'll just play for a month or until Wildstar comes out". Let's see how that holds. I feel horrible talking to my friends about it cause I see it in their faces they don't wanna come back, but there's a little itch in their veins they wanna get rid of. I tell them "Don't do it... but if you do I've got the scrolls right here". I'm horrible.
 
lol... the first 7 days are free... then... use the scroll for another 7 days free... then... try 10 days free from mop... thats... whole 24days free. then you have to pay, and if you made a monk or made it into pandaria... you have to pay for mop too. hahahahaha it works....


well... she is enjoying her new panda a whole lot... the one thing I can't understand is how she can play wow in spanish... after soo many years playing it in english its just inconprehensible giberish in spanish... oh well... still hilarious to listen to.
 
Lol im exactly the same way! I've seen the game Spanish, but I just prefer English. Same thing happens in Magic tcg.

I went back, it was bad. That is my story. The game is lifeless and boring now. Though, it might not be that bad if you have friends that still play. (None of mine do.) It's just not the same.
 
oh most definitely loaf, the biggest appeal is that most of my old guild is playing again. I'm still not playing it tho lol, only the wife.
 
This thread makes me a saaaaaaaad panda. only because I know I'll probably get roped into playing again..for like the 15th time. or maybe not. Jeeez this shit is worse than quitting smoking.

I never played WoW, but these are the feels I have with Achaea. The running joke is that you never quit, just take extended afks. Almost every time I don't have something to do I debate about going back for a while... but since they killed off my characters main (and only really) RP point, I just don't want to go back to it and I really come up with good reasons not to start a new character.
 
So I'm playing again, but I haven't had the time to sit down and play at all. The times I do, they're gone setting up my UI and addons. I did manage to get a quest or two in there. that's when I noticed that MOP is more of the same thing. Hopefully I'll have fun healing in dungeons.
 
One of the biggest road blocks I hit when I get the urge to play again is finding a really good UI addon. I wish it had a built in adjustable UI like Warhammer and SWTOR have. What do you use?

I think it all depends on what you like. Me personally? I like simple and clean, so when I found Tukui I was hooked.

Where I mostly spend most of my time personalizing is my healbot and power auras. Though I'm also testing other aura and spell trackers out there (which is another time sync, finding the right addon).

The rest aren't really necessary but nice to have, like addon control panel, postal, and fishing buddy. When I get in to crafting, that's when I get the auction house addons to help me buy and sell easily. That is another game entirely.
 
Yea Auctioneer or something similar is a must have. It really spoiled me when it came to pretty much every other MMO out there.
 
I personally didn't use any addons. Always topped the heal meter so I was told. My mouse hovered over the raid part health bars. Have to say I love my naga mouse. 12 buttons at my thumb keep a lot of people alive.
