What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
Two answers: (1) As an individual, I am most interested in PVP, specifically SPVP. I'm not confident I have the time to commit to being hardcore-SPVP (as much as I would love to) but I feel that I posess the skillset to make me an otherwise formidable ally/ringer. (2) As a guild participant, I feel I bring a lot to the table. I'm friendly and get along with all walks of life. Part of the beauty of MMO's is its potential to bring so many different types of people together, and I enjoy meeting new people. I also feel like I'm very creative, I love making people laugh, enjoy acts of randomness and kindness, and maintain leadership roles outside of gaming which I think actually help me in-game as well.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
UO (2 years), DAoC (4 years), WoW (6 years), Rift (6 months), Tera (2 months)

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes, I've served in multiple guilds in various capacities. In UO I was just a member of a small guild composed of real life mates. DAoC I primarily played with my bro and a friend for a while as guild member (Midgard - MLF server), but later after my bro and friend quit I was guild leader of Bane on Midgard-Tristan (SRVR/8v8). I later left Bane to play WoW with real life buds and joined a raiding guild named Addiction. But as you may have experienced with WoW it's a love-hate relationship, so I came and went for a while during college until we eventually broke off and created a more casual guild with my real life buds called Vandelay. Rift I've been solo. Tera I've been solo.

The struggle is having friends who play but don't stay. So I've been spending my time in Rift and Tera solo - borrrring. So my solution this go around is to join a guild in GW2 with the intention of making it a primary "home". I have a handful of friends that will be playing GW2, but I would rather they apply to an established guild such as yours than trying to do something on our own...again. At some point I need to look out for my best interest, and if I plan on playing GW2 for a while because it looks friggin' awesome, then I want to be sure I have a place to call "home" even if my real life acquaintances decide to later move on (because I'll always be able to talk shit to them outside of gaming anyhow.)

How did you hear about the Guild?
I've been doing frequent research on various sites, looking into multiple guilds. This is the first and only GW2 guild I've applied to and don't intend to apply to any others unless denied entry into this one (I'm not a whore y'know.) I ended up running across one of your pod casts on YouTube (#3) and really enjoyed your breakdown of what types of members your team is comprised of. I've been accustomed to playing MMO's for over half of my years now (yikes), I'm totally chill, and I was voted "best personality" in high school. And if you thought THAT was lame for bringing up, also in my HS year book, where it asks where you see yourself in 10 years, I'm quoted as saying "Raiding the realm of Hibernia from the comforts of my parents' basement." I live alone now, and its GW2 not DAoC, but hey I'm still gaming!

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I like to bring quirky, wierd, internet-meme inspired humor everywhere I go. I have the capicity to be a skilled warrior in-game. I enjoy an active vent/mumble/ts and participating. I tend to save forum visits for when I'm bored at work. And I enjoy helping others in-game.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
If she will have me, yes :) Oh, it's not a "she"...

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Yea I'd like to give a shout out to my girl back home. Honey, I love you. Thanks for always being there for me. I love you. Poppi's coming home baby! POPPI'S COMING HOME!

...yes, I'm still single.

Sir tr1age, it a pleasure to make your acquaintences. And Lady Jen, m'lady, uh...boobs.

It is indeed the case that I have both purchased and played the online game known as "TERA". I think, I was desperate at the time. I had no place to go. Nobody to love. And TERA was there for me man. What can I say? I'm not going to lie, I actually do find the combat play style appealing. However, I haven't gotten past level 30 yet because of sheer boredom and leveling an alt to change things up actually turns out to be THE SAME MOTHERF*#%$ING GAME OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

In conclusion, I understand perhaps feeling some discomfort in knowing that I've been exposed to that which they call the TERA... But I assure you sir, I now rarely log in. Instead I have spent afternoons for the past week or more browsing all there is to see about GW2, watching YouTube gameplay vids, etc. Now that I've decided a race and class, I'm going to read up on the lore and begin to understand the Ranger class as much as possible before launch. I am NOT partcipating in any beta events because I want everything to feel new once it goes live. But I'm getting everything patched up as much as possible, assuming the files may be needed for launch. OH, and I just purchased a new gtx550 2gb to replace my gtx260 896, and if there's space in my tower for a 2nd I may do so for SLI. They're a pretty good buy on Amazon for like $160 (had a gift card.) Anyways, I don't know why the $&*% I'm rambling on like this, so I'm going to stop now.
