Do you have any friends in the guild? If so, who?
Not yet but I do hope on making some.

Main Character Name
Spiritus Draconi

Race
Human

Profession(Class)
Warrior

What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I wish to lean more towards then dungeon area of guild wars 2 as I've always had the most fun doing dungeons in WoW and I find I enjoy them here as well. However I will go where I am needed. Or where help is asked for. I've never been that big into wPvP in WoW and it has kind of discouraged me from attempting too much on Guild Wars 2 but I love a challenge and doing new things. As far as sPvP goes I haven't delved too much into it as I just haven't found something about it that's caught my eye quite yet, bur I am treading the waters looking for some fun in there. I can always be social and I can go help the lower levels through zones as need be as well, or if somebody is just looking for a friend because they are lonely going through their zone.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Runescape: Didn't enjoy too much so never really kept a timer on it.
World of Warcraft: Played for middle of Firelands until 3 months before Mists came out. So not sure exactly how long, felt like a year but I never really did keep a timer on it either.
Cabal Online: About 6 months.
League of Legends: Over a year and still counting if I could get my client to work.
Smite: About 2 months now and still counting.
Alliance of Valiant Arms: Over 2 years and still counting.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
In Runescape it was more just playing with a bunch of friends never did join anything. Cabal Online I did join a guild but it was a casual guild with friends as while playing that our main focus was playing Alliance of Valiant Arms, so for the most part we just ran around leveling having fun and enjoying the scenery. It was rather fun not having to be under the stress of having meet max level requirement and just playing the game. When I started WoW it was with friends as well and we made a guild and just played casually. It was rather enjoyable until I found out at lvl 30 Balance Druids don't play with Agility. Just as well though my friends also quit at about level 30 as they went back to Runescape. I stayed with WoW and re-rolled a Retribution Paladin and soloed my way to 85. I then joined a fun mature casual guild that casually did dungeons. That is where I found my love PvE content. So as most casual guilds do it died off and the leader just up and quit the game. I then found myself a quaint little raiding guild that wanted to progress but got into progression a little late. I was having fun as they took me in as a casual raider but I then made a name for myself in the guild by helping other guild mates and proving myself to be a competent and reliable listener and raider. From there I sought out a powerful progression guild. Talked to my guild leader about it who was not happy at the fact that I said that I love everybody in this guild but I wish to progress, not wait until the next content arrives. I told him I would love to keep in touch and for him to tell me his feelings about this and he told me to drop dead and kicked me from the guild. i still maintained all other friendships in the guild as they figured I did nothing wrong. Thereafter I joined a mature heavily focused raiding guild. I worked my way up from the bottom to become top 10 out of 25 raiders by sticking by my personality; i.e. helping whenever I can, following the rules, paying attention and actually listening and being an active part of the guild. I then fell ill with something and hit some rough spots financially so I couldn't pay for the game and told them until further notice I was forced into unavailability. They seemed to completely understand but when I logged onto their forums a few days later I found I was kicked from the guild, banned from speaking in the forums, and in general ignored.

How did you hear about the Guild?
I happened upon the pod casts, then upon this website and I just created an account and started talking. Felt like I could make some really great friends here in the process.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I am very chatty. However I am also a listener. I will listen to people who wish to rant and/or talk and unload, as well as debate with people who wish it. I will also always be there if you just want somebody to talk to. I was decently skilled in World of Warcraft and I'm pretty good at League of Legends. I'm funny if you believe in talking about random subjects, making awkward noises, and laughing like an idiot. As far as helping. If I can get away from what I'm doing at that point then I try to make myself available to help in any way that I can.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes I do plan on only joining this guild.

How much time do you spend a week on Guild Wars 2 or other games?
At least 20 hours or more if possible.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I am not currently on Yak's Bend as at the moment the server is full but I am constantly trying to get on. Also if there is anything else you want to know about me I would refer you to the About Me panel in my profile.

Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes

HOWEVER.... did you REALLY do all the pre-reqs I don't see any indication that you read the rules of the guild...

and 20 posts in a day is kinda weird, but most of them do contribute at least something... >_>

I don't mind the posts since they were actually interacting with people. But the not reading the rules needs to be rectified QUICKLY.

I actually did read the rules but the area in which it says post here if you read the rules says that I don't have permissions to do so. Therefore I could not post that I read the rules.

Yes it says that I have insufficient privileges to post in this thread and that the thread is closed to further replies. However I did read them as they state for us to read some of the other apps before submitting our own. You list 2 websites for different headphones with mics on them. You have a "Handle yo shit." Policy when it comes to drama. Meaning as you state moderators are not our "holy-er than thou" overseers and that this guild if for adults only so if you don't come prepared to act like one you probably shouldn't come at all. You have a Zero Tolerance policy for other majorly serious offenses, one such being that yes sometimes the guild makes racist comments but if asked repeatedly to stop or you simply may say one completely out of line may result in a ban.

Also another thing I have a concern about is the 2 week participation period. I can not participate in guild events if I can not get into Yak's Bend. Granted I am trying my hardest to get in there, with the new 7 day transfer period a lot less people transfer now making it a little harder to get into the server. I am just worried if I happen to be accepted into the guild before I join the server how that will affect my application process.

We won't accept any app until the person is on our server. Just a guild policy. So please tell us if you get onto Yak's. I still stick by my +1

I am late to the party on this one, but this is what I expect out of an applicant. Future applicants that are reading these should model their application process after this one.

I liked that he spent about a week actually contributing to the forums and posting actual thoughts and added to the conversations. None of this "I like this post thx" so he could get his 5 posts in to submit the app. The app itself is full of info that lets us know who he is. Remember people more is better.

Topher already got the needed +1's but here is mine too. +1 from me.
