Me and dire did do some behind the scenes discussion, Its all fair in spies and me winning the game :)

I know I'm resistance and I am confident enough that Dire is that the choice of people I want to take on the mission is easy. If I assume me and Dire are resistance that means Tristan is the spy from our group and Kel is the spy from his group.

The other side of the coin is that I very much felt Tristan was the spy in our group and I thought he got together with kel and had him throw the first mission to pull suspicion off. I was feeling like Kel was the second spy but not as strongly. No logic to back these up, but that's what my gut was saying.

This mission will be to spy headquarters to go trigger a rock slide over all the exits for their secret underground bunker thus making it impossible to send out more spies. I will go on this mission and bring Dire and Kismet.

Either Dire is the master spy and will get to sabotage 3 in a row or we have found the resistance and can sail to victory!

P.S. If the resistance do win this one me dire and kismet have to vote no on any further mission suggestions that do not include the 3 of us.

Thanks for the vote of confidence T1g, but remember it's not over after this mission - we'll need to vote against Tristan and Kel's next two teams before we can get the three of us in again...that's all I'll say. I think we've got the odds in our favor but I really hope Kis isn't a spy though :O
 
I thought so. I messaged Kismet before the Jia announced the results, letting her know that I was pretty sure this (Dire sabotaging the mission) would be the outcome. I set myself up very good and I didn't think Dire and Trist would be able to resist. Turns out I was right.

Dire and Tristan are the spies; Kismet, T1G, and I are Resistance. If we stick together, we can win the last 2 missions.

Edit: I hadn't seen some of the other posts yet.

I'm willing to admit I could be wrong about Tristan. At this point, I hope I am since he is our only hope.

If Kismet, Tr1age and I block this mission, we have a chance at winning. Otherwise, Dire will sabotage again and it will all be over.

I apologize that I haven't been on as often as I would have liked, especially in the early game. I had a busy weekend and my daughter's birthday party on Monday. If that caused me to lose your trust, then this loss will be on me.
 
Just FYI, this is the message I sent Kismet last night:

There's a very strong chance that Dire is the other spy, along with Tristan and they are doing a good cop, bad cop routine with me. Tristan is being a very blatant spy and Dire seems to be trying to win trust.

I'm hoping Dire votes to make the mission fail. I'm baiting it pretty hard, setting myself up to look bad if it fails. If that happens, they will have tipped their hand and you me and T1G should be able to win it.

If the mission does succeed, then I may be off about Dire. We will see I guess.

In hindsight, I should have messaged T1G as well, but I wasn't 100% sure of Dire at the time.
 
So, here is the thing. I think kel kinda knew we were zeroing in on him as a spy and was doing damage control. Don't believe him kis. So far everyone believes me or mostly that I am resistance. I really feel that dire is on the resistance side so I'm asking you vote with me to put this mission ahead. I fully believe that if it gets voted down we lose.
 
I've said my piece and I don't have much more to add. Kel's edit makes things a little muddy as to whether he thinks Kis or Tristan are spies...maybe that's the point?

Reading between the lines I'm pretty sure Kel is unintentionally calling out Tristan as his fellow spy...could be another double bluff though.

Not a spy.

Kel = Spy.

Don't really care beyond that. Just needed to laugh in his face a bit.
 
With 3 people in agreement against me, it's obvious I haven't done as good as I should have in gaining trust. Too much MIA at the beginning, too much cloak and dagger.

I am convinced that Tr1age is the second spy along with Dire. I don't blame T1G for believing them over me; he's known them a lot longer. I'll be really down on myself if I lost Kismet's trust as well.

However, it's not over 'til it's over. T1G and Kismet, it's all up to you.
 
Its not that I don't trust you. I was leaning towards kismet as a second spy. You got the title because of process of elimination after dire's team failed. Dire did a good job of convincing me he is resistance. I'm even calling tristan a spy so its not about how long I've known the person.
 
Dire seemed to be trying a little too hard, which is why I baited him. Still can't believe he went for it, though. Guy's got some serious balls.

Tristan tipped his spy hand very early. I don't know if that was on accident or if it was in concert with Dire. Honestly, it could be either and doesn't really matter at this point.

I have hope that Kismet will stand with me, but that still gives 3 votes to the spies if you (T1G) vote yes on the mission.

Spies have been conversing behind the scenes since the start of the game, right? ;) And I find it odd you would say "me winning the game" instead of "us defeating the spies". Very curious!

Again, if you are so certain Dire is Resistance, and that you are as well... why would it be "IF"?

Have I been on a single mission? No.
Have two missions failed without me on the teams? Yes.
Didn't Dire question when I made my team pick, "Why wouldn't you put yourself on a team?" YES.

And why didn't I? Because DUH... as I've stated all along, I am not a spy and I know that. I didn't need to be on a team to weed out the spy because I already know that I am Resistance. My fellow resistance members should be figuring that out as well by now. :)

So cast your votes strategically and remember if five consecutive teams fail to pass, the spies still win.
Also, if the spies sabotage one more mission they win.
This is a crucial turning point in the game. GOOD LUCK!

Tig's team has been DENIED!


Apparently a few people thought that the only rock-slide they'd see happening would be a victory for the Spies, thus the team has been denied!

Kel: No
Kismet: No
Dire: Yes
Tig: Yes
Tristan: No

Now it's Tristan's turn to form the next team of three!

Hooray, this team didn't pass! BTW, how would Resistance know where Spy Headquarters are anyway, hmmm? ;)
 
This mission will be to educate Kismet on what the almighty STEAM is. We will scour the googles far and wide until we know she understand! I will go on this mission and bring Keleynal and Kismet. If we are successful it will mean free steam games for life! Unless they are shitty Indy titles that no one cares about and were born out of the idea of money not enjoyment! (too much? lol)

 
Shit...in all the drama happening after last mission, I totally failed to eliminate Kis as a spy by process of elimination. This is why more than one person should be proposing strategy. I just completely failed to think about you. Sorry Kis...

Well, personally I think this is utterly straight forward. Same team as last time or I'll vote no.
