I Am The Master of Casual

I am Baldorax AkA The Gaming Baby Daddy Aka John and I live in North Carolina. I have a lot of hobbies with so little time. I am an AutoCAD drafter. Have fun :)
 
If there was a single game you wish you could go back and experience as if you'd never played it before, which would it be, and why?

Oh gosh, that is a pretty hard one because there were some games that were really good and I would love that "first" time experience again or there were games that were a little too advanced for me when I was a kid. But id I had to pick one game it would have to be The Legend of Zelda. Why? Because when I first played this game I was young and never really understood the story or the difficulty this game imposed and ultimately turned me away from this series.

I guess putting a ring on my wifes finger did since it was her Jeep before I married her. I pretty much confiscated it from her :) I just love the idea and concept of a jeep. Getting stuck with crappy AC or heat? Want to enjoy the weather outside, go right ahead in a jeep. Take the top off and the doors and it is a whole different experience. Takes you out of the "cage" and comfort of the enclosed space
 
You bought a house semi recently... How's it been? Saw the walk through video but then haven't heard anything since.

Ah yeah, I'll be sure to take some 1 year pictures since we just passed out 1 year mark in February :) We are loving it. For 4 grown adults (her parents live with us) and a baby on the way this townhome works for us. Three floors, 4 bed, 4 1/2 bath, like 2200 SqFt and a garage. extra parking is literally across the road of our house. We are in front of the clubhouse/pool area. It really worked out great. Sometimes I do wish it was just my wife and I but the experience we all have is worth it.

My ideal house would have been a ranch style house or a two story with a big lot but in the city it would have been close to a million and outside the city it would have been too long of a drive to work for all of us :( 1st world problems living in the big city

Oh man, I want to do what that guy did where he started playing games from the beginning of gaming and progressively working our way up to current generation so she gets an appreciation of where games came from and the struggles of 2d graphics transitioning into 3ds graphics to where we are now.
 
What´s your biggest fear of being a parent? Once your kid becomes a teenager or once your kids goes to school alone for the first time?

I have a lot of fears already and she isn't born yet but I think my biggest fear is that something might happen and she will die before me. I don't think I would be able to handle that.

As a teenager, boys. But living in the south I will play this song and have my shotgun ready whenever a boy comes into her life

funny story, not so funny. So the first time I met my wife was at a soccer game and was introduced to her from a friend. I was very sports minded at the time and didn't really hit it off with her then but apparently she thought I was really cute. I year or so goes by, I graduated high school and she is in her senior year. Our friend had us meet up again and the flame just lit then because I actually paid attention to her this time and said damn she is good looking and her personality fit well with mine. Our first date was at a subway in downtown Greenville. Romantic I know. :)
 
How many Chuck Norris's does it take to reverse the rotation of the earth

Baldoraxx was actually Baldorax on the site but I forgot the password and email information :p but the name came from me figuring out a really good name for Guild Wars 2. Was one of the few games I actually needed to make my own name (I usually only played FPS/RPG games) so I kept combing different names and words. I kept coming back to snorlax, I liked the ax at the end and somehow I said Baldorax and it kept.

1, and when he goes to reverse the rotation, the earth spins for him under the sheer might of his beard.
