Wildstar Stress Test and Moar Beta Invites

Looks like in addition to the lovely Devspeak movement video Zakis posted, the Devs at W* will be working up some sort of stress test soon that will involve "a lot more beta invites".

Additionally, if you participate in the stress test, which will likely suck, they'll give you normal Beta access too.

Seriously. +1 to carbine. Every MMO tries to anticipate overloading servers for launch time. Hopefully they will be able to be the first to successfully pull it off.

yeah i've never heard of a semi-public stress test before, is it a normal thing to do? One would assume so, but with all things launch going wrong (sim city, Daiblo) maybe it's not ?

I agree with it for purposes of STRESS not Hype which is what they seem to be doing. And doing well.

Even if they are doing it for hype then it will still have positive technical results. Hopefully.

I heeeeerd they re-sent out a few (750) beta invites to people who didnt respond to the first round of invites. So check your spam boxes I suppose. I think it came from the Wildstar Twitter? Exis do you have a link/screen of that post by el chance?

Yeah double checked my spam, so unless they are disguising it as a way to enlarge my penis by 75%, I am pretty sure I didn't miss it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did disguise it as a way to enlarge your penis by 75%. Because that's what it does.
