Razer unleashes new left handed Naga MMO mouse!

I have the 2012 one is there any real diffrence between them besides thicker buttons and it being a one size fits all so you don't have to change out side panels ?

Just curious here cause I never quite understood the mechanical vs digital Debate. Why do you want one over the other?

at 48:40 they break down the difference between mechanical and rubber dome. get tons more details at geekhack.com also. something else I didn't hear them mention is that with mechanical you can press down multiple keys simultaneously and with rubber dome you can't. my cheap rubber dome keyboard is wearing out I think and I notice all the times keystrokes not registering so I'm about to go drop $100 myself on a nice mechanical keyboard. hope this helps

Lefties are always right! Speaking of which, the left handed version is STILL NOT AVAILABLE! Why put out a press release weeks and weeks ago if its going to take this long to be available?!?!?

The feel of the keys in a mechanical keyboard, the noise of the 'clack' when you push a button, as opposed to the lack of feedback on a rubber button that does not push down, makes me strongly biased towards mechanical keyboards.

For someone not used to digital keyboards, you can often double push keys while typing too, though I suspect you could get used to it.

So I finally got the new Razer Naga shipped and tested it out today. I gave it a couple hours and played some FPS, RTS and MMO's. I HATE HATE HATE...HATE HATE THIS MOUSE. Its far too light weight and the material feels cheap. I hate the way the left and right clicks feel although the side number pads mechanical buttons do feel nice. Speaking of that the number pad back lighting does not work. Its corded, which I knew obviously, because the "elite" version hasn't come out yet for the 2014 edition. Slap on another 40 bucks when that launches. All in all a big let down from my perspective. Logitech all the way for me.

I'm using the Hex that also has mechanical buttons, and I hated it when I got it too.. as I prefer heavier, larger form factor. I've gotten used to it and am considering trying the new naga just to see, as I'd really like a few more thumb buttons. I will say, I've had to replace it once after owning it only a year due to the right and left buttons sticking - something I discovered to be a common problem with the Hex. I was waiting a bit on the Naga to see if they fixed that.

Now I´m really happy that I got the Logitech G600. What sold it for me was the size. Huge, just as a mouse should be.

Yea I should have known better. I have been using Logitech for the last 13 years. I own and have owned Logitech keyboards, mice, wireless and wired headsets. Anything I have ever owned from them, cheap or expensive, always worked well and felt nice. Unfortunately they hate lefties.

To this day my all time favorite mouse was the Logitech G7 wireless gaming mouse with the on the fly DPI adjustments and the 2 quick swapping rechargeable battery packs. It was discontinued years ago, I think they have an updated version out now with there new G series gaming mice.
