What's new

Post your RIDE!

I'm an avid vehicle enthusiast. I love cars of all types and appreciate almost any vehicle. Usually take day-trips just to go buy and trade. I change cars fairly often, and the partner literally changes every 2 -3 months... What moves you?

Since everyone has been asking if this is really my car in my avatar..
Oh and the JDM badge is no longer on my car, lol.
Along with that stupid registration sticker in the middle of the window..
Also, added what you cannot see in the videos a new JDM Rear bumper, which doesn't stick out as much.

On the Dyno:

Awhile back when it was mostly stock:

A few videos,
First is a roll, I had a stock clutch at the time which was going so I didn't want to launch it. It was mostly stock, making just a little over 300hp, it's close to 400 now. It was wet outside and caused me to slide when I hit full boost (25lbs) at the time.

Second is just my exhaust sound, when I had just installed it.

Dan, here's my friends Evo I was telling you about....~625awhp in this vid.

After Kevin D got done with the tuning, he was pushing ~750+ on E85...

Four fat guys in an EVO and it still pulled like there was an atomic bomb behind it...

Before the final tune at Evo Dynamics vs. our friend's STi

Another 4G63 monster... my friend Ben's VR4... used to be a rally car

I bet that thing lagged pretty good, then it hit full boost and pulled, lol. I was going to do a turbo upgrade but backed off. I decided it would be better to buy a built one already for cheaper. It would save me money in the long run, and i'll be buying it off a reputable shop, either STM or BR.

Honestly, Dan, If I were you I would keep the car DRIVEABLE and fun. The 800hp Evo was a monster to behold... but after a while, it got old. Not to mention I think the entire build was about $23k. He traded it off for a turbo S2k, and ended up flipping it... Just keep the power below 500 and you'll have a fast, fun car that's not a death-trap.

I'm hanging onto my Merc for a few more months, and then going to attempt to find a 9-3 TurboX (preferably a sportcombi) to have as a tuning project again... it's been too long. My last was a '86 Saab c900 Turbo with about 300whp, never should have sold it.

Lol, so many Evo's... Nice one, CopOut. Any plans on ridding yourself of 4x4 status or do you drive it aggressively/actually use the rally capability?

If by aggressive you mean no time for slow / stupid drivers then yes lol. I will switch lanes a lot cause I like to cruise ~120

The reason you lift your wheel is because you're only pushing your back wheels, as the Evo's push all the wheels. The wheelie hurts your 60ft times.

Previous car.

My subie I LOVED and still see driving around town to this day looking clean as hell. 362 awhp on e85~

Nah not really, traction is traction. I understand why the TA lifts and 4wd cars dont, I have had both.

The TA cut a 1.4 60 last time on the track. The 60s are fine :p

Unfortunately I sold tha TA a few weeks ago, but I am sure that care could go deep into the 9's on spray. Thats with full interior, A/C, PS, full leather interior, full weight. :D

Subies need so much more to make fast vs an Evo, that's why I went with what you see now. My stock turbo, stock motor is pushing 365hp, on 93.
