Play Borderlands 2

Is there a thread about said page? If not there should be - I found it via common sense, but it wouldn't have occurred to me to even look for a steam page
 
I just started Borderlands 2 up a few days ago. Been playing at work overnight so I really never see anyone on. I got a gunzerker up to level 8 so far, love it, but I may try a new character to see how it plays. I'm on the AltTabMe steam group so feel free to add me if you want.

I've seen you online a few times, but all of my characters are higher level than yours - if I joined your game, I'd steamroll your enemies. That would take a lot of fun out of your first play-through, :(
I do have another character around level 17-ish, I'll hop into your game if I see you hit that level, ^^

Ya same here for my side of things. I'm liking it a lot so far. I do a ton of sniper solo with the gunzerker. I have thought about getting the new dlc where you play a psycho, but the other classes aren't nearly as interesting as my gunny.

Yeah I like my commando, but I'm starting to get some nice perks from my gunzerker (level 10) that's making it pretty fun.
 
I just hit 9 and made it down the first tier of the healing tree, now I'm going down the ammo tree. Love my sniper rifle, hardly use gunzerker special. I always forget, plus I try to stay back away from the bodies I am dropping.

I'm much more SMG and A/R with my gunzerker, but I do like myself a sniper as well.
 
I keep a handgun, smg, ar5, and shotgun in my pack and switch between them as my 2nd weapon. My handgun is a blue one I got off a boss that has incendiary rounds and I like that for close quarters 1 on 1. If there is more than 1 getting in my face I go for the smg or ar5 mostly.

I stopped using pistols on my gunzerker. The SMG sees to fill that role now and when coupled with a semi auto AR for gunzerker and sniper, I have my set. Later on when I get a 4th slot, it will be filled with a rocket launcher most likely. Never cared for shotty's in BL1 or 2
 
Borderlands 2 has some free loot. Shift codes are tweeted out every so often and there is one that is still live till the end of the day today.

PC - Creating a SHiFT Account in Borderlands 2

1) In the main menu of Borderlands 2, select "Extras."
2) Select "Shift Codes" from the "Extras" menu.
3) Choose "Sign Up."
4) Enter your birth date then hit "Confirm Age" SHiFT requires users to be at least 18 years old.
5) Review the Online Policy, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service then hit "Accept."
6) Enter your e-mail address and desired SHiFT password then choose "Sign Up."
7) Account created! An e-mail will be sent to the address you entered for confirmation.
PC - Redeeming a SHiFT Code in Borderlands 2

1) In the main menu of Borderlands 2, select "Extras."
2) Select "Shift Codes" from the "Extras" menu.
3) From the "My Offers" screen, choose "Shift Code."
4) Enter your 25-digit SHiFT code, then hit "Submit."
PC - Signing into an Existing SHiFT Account in Borderlands 2

1) In the main menu of Borderlands 2, select "Extras."
2) Select "Shift Codes" from the "Extras" menu.
3) Choose "Sign In."

I'll have to try out that Shift Code! Is it a Golden Key give-away?

Tig, if you don't find yourself using the Gunzerker's special skill at all, I would suggest trying Maya, the Siren. She may not appeal to you at first, but if you're more of a sniper anyway, I think her action skill would work really well for you.
You'll also find "Res" on her healing skill tree, which allows you to use your Phaselock to instantly revive a fallen team mate from a distance - it's the perfect skill to help your team if you're the one staying out of danger!
 
Ya the shift code is for a golden key.

I may try out the siren to see how it is.

Thx for splitting out the BL2 posts it was cluttering up the other thread.
