I don't know if anyone is keeping up with the news about North Korea but they just declared the 1953 armistice invalid.

For those who don't know, North Korea recently got a new leader and he wants to be able to have nukes. The UN has put into place many sanctions to keep him from them. N Korea has launched 3 nuke tests against UN orders.

Recently they declared the armistice (really a handshake peace treaty) between N & S Korea nul and void.

Its another step in the wrong direction for north Korea, but not a big one. The armistice has been ignored before but its not a real peace treaty, just a kind of handshake agreement.

The worst part of all thats going on over there right now is how they keep threatening to use their full arsenal of attacks on many different countries now that the UN has put sanctions on them. Threats against America are the loudest ones too and they can reach western and middle America with their nuclear rockets right now. Eastern US is "safe" from a missile strike right now. Not that other shit couldn't go down if they wanted to.
 
The DPRK loves saber-rattling, but its government has mostly been more concerned with its own continuity than actually acting on its threats and potentially getting humiliated by our superior military. They're crazy, but probably not that crazy.

The only way North Korea can be a force is if they get Russia China Pakistan England to join them. hahahahahaha

Russia and China? Maybe. China might call Iran. Because apparently we didn't get enough of that whole web of alliances thing after World War I.

But also, China is leading the sanctions with the US in the UN right now against N Korea.

I thought of Red Dawn when i first heard and I just had to watch both versions of it (Go watch the older one as well)

I have been keeping tabs on Kim since he came into power and they have been pretty straight forward on their threats "see Washington in a sea of flames"

They also did their third nuclear test against UN orders back in February. Now, from what we have been told they don't have the long range capabilities yet but are able to hit our embassies in... say Japan and other targets over-seas.
 
They will NEVER just launch a Nuke without an attack planned. Launching a nuke at anyone is basically asking to be pile drived into the ground. Every country around them has the ability to do so and many of them will do it. Just bad politics lol

But the leadership there is pretty crazy and delusional. You can never assume crazy people will do rational things.
