Late night adventures in my garage.

So myself and my cousin embarked on what we thought would be at most a 2-3 hour adventure into my garage. Our mission was to construct the biggest baddest home gym I had ever laid my eyes on and just had to have. The Powertec Workbench Multi System. I've wanted something like this for years and finally I had it. How hard could it be afterall? Well after 9 grueling hours... yes, non-stop 9 hours only taking breaks to rehydrate cause we were dying in the garage mid-summer. Even at night in Southeast Texas it can be pretty miserable. The humidity is killer. The last few hours I was cramping up really bad in my neck, shoulders, back, side. lol Easy! So finally, here it is. No more gym memberships ever!

Now here's the worst part... All those full boxes over on the right side of image... Those are 4 more accessories and a rack that we have to build... Never going to end! lol

And no I still haven't cleaned up... I showered and passed out, and just woke up. Now for those accessories. Hope to see you guys back on Monday. -bruceno- <--- my workout face... minus the manly beard.

I asaume there's a full spa and cappuccino maker in the accessories not yet built, yes?

that looks like a torture chamber..

But kudos, I would love to have some kind of workout system in my pad.

Thats pretty awesome. I did the same thing here about 3 months ago. I actually found mine on craigslist for free and have used it about 3 times so far lol. It is nice to have though when I get back to working out and eating better

it's now complete with rubber floor padding... now if I could just find a local sporting good store that sells weight plates over 25lbs I could actually use it. And getting ~400lbs shipped is scary to even think about...

funny thing is this has been in our garage in boxes since March/April or so(tax returns money!)... I don't even remember how long now. We had talked to a guy about taping and floating sheet rock who dicked around for 2 months before he finally got it done. We textured last week and painted this past Friday finally.
