Aloha. I just realized I never replied to this thread, but I've been reading all the updates. o_O

I'm Dan, and at 36 I'm probably one of the old fogies of the guild.

I've been playin' MMOs since the EQ1/MUD days, and have probably checked out just about every one between here and there. Most of my time was spent in EQ1, DAoC and WoW. GW2 will likely beat out all those if it keeps being as awesome as it is. I had a blast this last beta weekend at all the guild events, and it's been great getting to know everyone over mumble and on the forums.

I'm currently a web/UI designer/dev by day to help pay for my gaming habit and to put beer on the table. I have an ornery 20 year old cockatiel that's cleverly named "Beaky" who likes to sit on my shoulder and watch me game. :D
 
the picture is a render in ZBRUSH, and yes zbrush ;), which i have recently 3D printed in my spare time and it sits on my desk looking at me.
personal models? i wish it were that easy ;) yesterday i worked out that if i wanted to build a charr action figure (10inches) it would cost like, £1600, with discount on printing.

Hello everybody, I'm Lilo, I'm 30 years old and I have 2 kids, both boys ages 9 and 11. I'm caretaker to my husband of 11 years, he has severe Diabetic Neuropathy (google is a good place for info on that), he can't walk and is in pain all the time. I'm grateful for a guild that isn't super serious since he needs me quickly now and then. Playing games is my stress reliever, MMO's are a perfect way to be in my own world =)
Um, sorry, I can get a little long winded, at the risk that I'll be considered a loser I'll reveal that I don't have any irl friends (crazy, I know) so the only person I talk to that isn't a kid is my husband, lol. So I'm looking forward to making some new friends to have fun with!

Hi, I'm Weergaloos (!!!VEERGALOOS!!!) and I'm glad I ran across AltTabMe's podcasts on YouTube. You guys are chill, play for the fun of the game, and Mumble has been entertaining on its own :)

I'm really excited to see this comradery carry over into launch. May we celebrate many victories, and create many memories (awww, I just made that up!) :eek:mg:
 
Hi all!

I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Justin (Spankyfloyd). I'm 26 and from Boston. Go Sox! Fairly new to the guild and am looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone! I came across AltTabMe and guild Arcanix via GW2 Guru and the podcasts on YouTube. I'm pumped to be a part of this group an excited for all the good times ahead!

Additionally, my girlfriend is living in with me for a few more weeks so my gaming time and time spent on Mumble chatting it up with you good folks will be limited. Once she heads back home I'll be on quite a bit!
 
Whats up all. I'm Dreek "drake", 25 years old. Brazilian born but raised in NH with Gyoin. Now living by the St Louis area since i enlisted in the air force. Big fan of mmo's, but what got me into GW2 was that some of my friends jumping in the band wagon.

Fun Fact: on my first time at a driving range, there were 4 gorgeous female golfers, and yet i still managed to epically fail and accidently checked out gyoin's ass

True story. I was at the other end and Dreek and our buddy Mike were back at the other end. He pointed out my ass to mike not realizing it was me. All I heard was mike bursting out laughing and dreek going "Stop! Stop it! I didn't mean it!".

I'm happy to know my ass attracts both males and females.
 
Hi. I'm Alan, 34 years old. I live in the Birmingham area of Alabama. Graduated from Auburn University. Love watching football but college football is my favorite. Married with 3 boys, 6, 4, 3 months. Enjoy running, adventure racing, mud runs/obstacle courses (google Tough Mudder), mountain biking, watching UFC and spending time with my boys. I coach my boys' baseball/basketball/football teams. During the day I'm a software programmer. Playing games are my hobby. Typically my playtime is 9-9:30 pm central with varying lengths of playtime. Glad to be a part of a great guild and looking forward to contributing in some way.
 
Ahh, I know a few people who do Tough Mudder runs and such. Not gonna lie, fuck that. I'd rather sit in my chair and drink a beer.

I started my latest "get fit" initiative with the intention of doing the VA area Tough Mudder, to support the wounded warrior project. Didn't quite go as planned (recurring disc issue in my back), so it's my goal to get in shape for next year's. :D At least I accomplished the "quit smoking" part of the preparation! (now to just get back into the habit of eating healthier food)

I'm Ryan. Just turned 25 last week. I was born in Texas and have lived somewhere in this hellish nightmare realm all my life. My Texan accent only comes out when I drink; most of the time, I'm told I sound like I'm from California (thanks, Dad). I'm a composer, having just finished my master's degree in San Marcos and begun a period of blissful unemployment. I've played D&D for years, and I love screwing around with game systems and house rules. You'll see me theory-craft a lot. I also have a passing interest in graphic and web design, but I'm just a hobbyist with little formal training.
