Hello everyone. I'm Mike and I'm from Long Island, NY. I like video games. Lately, I've been into Wildstar, League of Legends, Smite, and various fighting games.

I'm also a software developer working in the air transport industry, but that's not all that exciting to talk about for most people.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting and playing with all of you!

I still don't fully understand how NYC works. It just seems like a vortex of everything, yet extremely segregated.

We are a multidiverse melting pot of people that just cant stand each other. Welcome to New York! Now get out of my way.

Basically NYC is Manhattan > Brooklyn > Queens > The Bronx > Staten Island

LI would be between Queens and The Bronx if it was part of NYC.

And where I live is considered the middle of Bumblefuck, Pennsyltucky. At least in NYC terms.

Basically. Even though Queens and Brooklyn are actually ON Long Island (geographically at least), we consider them part of NYC. Anything north of NYC doesn't exist. Upstate NY is essentially another state entirely.

I don't know. I think LI is in between the Bronx and Staten Island. No one wants to go to Long Island but you certainly don't want to go to Staten Island. Screw traffic and screw the Cross Bronx/Cross Island/LIE.

This is why I specifically chose to work out east. Even though I have a 50 mile total commute each day, it's never over an hour everyday (excluding days with accidents, which are somewhat rare).

Also, my wheels won't suffer the horrendous NYC roads (not that the roads out in Suffolk are perfect).
