HAF 932 - Paint Job Mod Worklog

Well GW2 launch is next week and i wanted something shinier for my rig... I have been meaning to do this for a while but never actually got to it... I'm painting my Coolermaster HAF 932 Full Tower computer case, it has a LOT of ugly generic gray areas....

This thread is going to be a little work log over the process of finishing my rig modifications...

Firstly I moved my system to a new home.... a lil ghetto for now but it works.... somehow.
(I have very good plans for a SFF leatherbound HTPC case for this box later on)

Then I disassembled my HAF932.... drilling LOTS of rivets... LOTS, it ended up ok all in panels

After disassembling the fans, masking taping them and ready for painting.

Next part is painting....
OK Done, real quick, i'm not entirely happy with the results but I had to get it done for launch! here:

btw, i realize the timestamps are wrong... old camera and couldn't be bothered fixing that. Enjoy!

That's awesome! I'm going to be pretty damn jealous of the end result. There's no way I'd have the patience to disassemble all of that stuff and not get pissed when putting it back together and having any sort of issue with any of it. been having some cracking and running paint issues, specially on the fan blades... this might take longer than expected.
I just might leave them to cure for a couple of days then sand them a little then repaint them to see how that goes... I'll start on the panels tomorrow.

Panels were a success, oddly enough on the cheapest paint i found... worked the best.
will start assembly process in the morning. rivets rivets and more rivets
