H1Z1

Finally a date! I can't wait to shoot some zombies. One of the things I found most interesting from the livestream today is that characters can contract the H1Z1 virus. It can happen either by being attacked by a zombie or another character can inject the virus into your character via syringe. The virus gets worse over time and can never be cured. You slowly start turning into a zombie, for example hunger for raw meat rather than normal food. The virus can be stalled with expensive medication but you'll eventually die regardless.
 
So I'm off the 15 then have to work 16-18, I expect you all to have a well established armed presence by then. Looking forward to having something worth streaming again! Hopefully it's not too broken

Early Access Alpha is Alpha...expect broken initially lol. There is some sort of live stream this friday from SO studios too.

I work on the 15th and 16th, but I will definitely be playing after work. And then once I get home on the 16th I intend to stay up all night!

So if anyone is looking to play together (or try to) right off the bat - on the 15th I should be home around 5:00 PST. On the 16th - 5:30PST. I'll probably hop in mumble to find ya'll.

SO PUMPED! WOOOOO.
 
Let me know how Alpha is. I will never buy a game in Alpha again. If i am chosen to test a game and give feedback for the game that's fine but i won't buy a game to tell them what bugs there are.

Once it gets further along i may give it a try.

I doubt there is an NDA since they have had some of their fan streamers to the office to stream and play already. I shall definitely stream it.

Go find some people, make them kneel and lick your boots.

Or just drive in a car, find some people and shoot your gun to make the zombies follow you to them.

Me, me , me!! Count me in.

This is what I am really interested in making in this game - a sustainable little town (farming, base, bbq, etc). I'd be interested in making it a trading post of some kind for friendly players, too. Though I have no problem defending the base against raiders. XD

Here is a list of EVERYTHING that went down on Friday. All the streams, streamers, and interviews. If anyone is interested.

From what I understand, the PCGamer stream had THE best graphics/bitrate/picture quality to date on any stream showing H1Z1.
 
Does anyone else feel like their life reset back to normal with the 12+hour patch yesterday?

I had been anticipating getting home ALL friggen day to play...and that didn't happen. So I went about my normal schedule, bedtime, etc. Woke up and was eager about the game, but like...not all consumed by it. I was actually looking forward to being productive at work again.

Haha - Real life reset.

Or maybe it was just me....
