What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I plan on playing all roles. I love PvE and PvP.
I enjoy running dungeons and doing map zone events, and I enjoy WvW, but structured PvP is more my thing. I do tournaments occasionally but usually with pick up groups, so if I had a guild I would love to do tournaments.
I am also quite social. Being in a mumble and talking to people in real time doesn't bother me at all. I would actually enjoy the experience to meet new people.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Of course - Runescape, for like 7 years. Who didn't as a kid?
When I got more familiar with MMO's I switched over to a game called Knight Online and played that on and off for a few years.
It wasn't until 2007 I finally picked up WoW and played that until Guild Wars 2 came out.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I joined random guilds in Runescape for PvP, but my first actual guild was in WoW. They were a casual raiding guild, and I enjoyed the experience and met some cool people. Unfortunately being a casual guild it slowly died off, and the guild master disbanded the guild for real life issues. After the guild was disbanded I kept in touch with a few guildies but over the years they slowly quit WoW, so for the remainder of my WoW time I was guildless waiting for GW2 and just casually playing the game with some friends.

How did you hear about the Guild?
I saw a large group of guild members running through WvW and it looked like a lot of fun, so I asked someone and they directed me here.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I am a social person so I would be on the forums checking to see what is going on, and doing my best to help people (because I do enjoy helping people!) if needed as well as learning new things from others.

I consider myself to be funny. I won't say stupid things to offend people, and it is very hard to offend me so I don't get angry. I am a very relaxed person.

As far as helping I mentioned before I do enjoy helping people, so even if topics non-guild wars arise I can offer whatever wisdom I may have.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I am currently in a guild with my friends, however we talk through whispers/parties and it consists of like 7 members, only used it to make talking easier, so no, I do not plan on joining any other guilds if I am accepted.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Most of my time is devoted to college and work, however, I also devote a lot of my time to GW2 whenever possible, so I am quite the active player and I enjoy doing events and participating in anything that would be going on! (PvE, PvP, social)

What irritates me a bit is that this app has given me little information on who Sean is and what his personality is like.
Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh...

Sean, your forum posts have been mostly one- and two-liners, and you've only just signed up today. Tell us a bit more about yourself, like what you're studying at college, what you're passionate about, why you think Arcanix is the guild for you - something along those lines.
 
I agree with Jia on this one, just a little more personality wise or maybe wait and let him get involved in the forums more.

Well, my name is Sean Mills and I am currently living in Michigan attending a community college. I plan on moving to a bigger university within the next year. At the college I am studying Computer Hardware and Software repair, and I plan on minoring in networking to help give me a better chance at nailing down a job.

Right now my job sucks, I work at a grocery store called Meijer in the produce section (maybe you've heard of it, only has a chain in the north), so I can definitely answer any questions you may have on fruits and vegetables :p . I only average around 30 hours with good weeks. My bad weeks give me only about 20 hours, which is why I have quite a bit of free time to do the things I like such as working on computers, going out for a nice run or going to the gym, and of course... Guild Wars 2.
Once I get my associates in computer repair though I do plan on working for a bank. The hours and pay will definitely be a lot better but that won't but until next year.

As far as my personality goes it's quite simple. Like I said, it takes a lot to make me angry so feel free to throw in any jokes you want, I won't take them to heart. I understand the difference between someone being serious and someone just messing around, and even if you are trying to offend me I won't care at all, so have fun saying it as I walk away.
So to sum it up i'm pretty relaxed. People say I am quiet and shy, but I'm really not, I'm just always in a pretty laid back mood, and can definitely be talkative with people I know. But, that doesn't mean I won't be talkative to strangers, gotta get to know people somehow right?

AND YES, I do have kitties. Cats are my favorite animals as a matter of fact.

I also have a dog but... I'm not much of a dog person. I don't hate them but, I like cats a lot better.

I do like to get out of the house quite a bit with my friends, but because a lot of them attend universities it is hard to get out sometimes because a lot of them work and are busy with school. A few of them play GW2 but they are very casual about it, just sometimes hop on to do PvP or maybe form a PUG dungeon.
The ones who don't play GW2 though go to a few of the big name schools, so it's a lot of fun to attend some of the parties on the weekends (if I can get work off)

And yes, I did see one of you in WvW, I saw a lot of people running following you as a commander and I just thought "Man, i am running around by myself... I sure could use a guild that looks like a lot of fun." I was following you guys around until I whispered you and you directed me here and I started doing whatever was possible to fill out an application, so i'm sorry if my posts on the forums were a bit "short". I wasn't trying to rush it as fast as possible but... I guess at the same time I might have been a little rushed. Sorry :p
 
I am 100% sold on this app. Best response and honest response we have ever gotten.

You missed our WvW halloween brawl btw :)
