What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I would love to play in pretty much any role I can within the guild. I love PvP and can be a bit competitive. I am honestly looking forward to PvE within the game as well. I like to explore and research, but I feel like in past MMO's I was always a cut behind given that I might not have put in as much time as some of the people that dedicated their entire life to the game (PvP gave me a way to follow a schedule and get in my enjoyable guild interaction, play time, and fun!). In terms of a Casual or Social role... I LOVE to laugh. I get along with a wide variety of people, and tend to be a great support guy that people enjoy having around. Apparently I can be quite hilarious on Vent, as well...

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
My most recent 'work experience':
Guild Wars: 5+ years (started on CE launch day and it was love at first sight!!!) This is the game that I invested the most time in. From the good old days of Tombs, to IWAY, to 6man HA, to GvG and the Automated MTs... to spiking, to crush-rolling 5-minute GvG sessions with [KYSG], to my alltime favorite moments of PBlock/Blackout comboing backlines and watching other teams fall to their doom... I could go on for ages on how much I loved this game. People knew me for knowing EXACTLY what players would cast, where they would move, knowing every skill in the game and what made it special.

WoW: 1+ years (This was a love/hate relationship... I loved the game but it didn't love me... I didn't ever find my roots here. Played a priest from day one and got to the first cap and retired as GW quickly overtook my interest)

Age of Conan: 6 mo (I liked the concept of this game and played a Tempest named Zangief that coincidentally looked like.... Zangief. Sadly my friends left the game which returned me to my good buddy GW)

UO: The game that started it all for me... In your podcast, it was mentioned (I think by Tristan?) that it allowed such a deep sense of freedom to play. You could play the game in anyway you wanted. I remember being a member of Dark Brotherhood (DB) and going into high level dungeon areas only to return to my custom house outside of Trinsic where I had a carpentry vendor area setup. It was nice to be able to run a true business from outside of my private area... almost like a game within a game.

MUDs: When I say that UO was the game that started it all for me, that is in a graphical sense. I began playing MUD's like Albion and IGOR mud since I was about 8 years old, at my public library. Being enveloped in a fantasy world, even if it was only text based, was a revelation to me. When the graphical version appeared (UO), it was like the heavens opened!

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I have been a part of many guilds, and have started quite a few of my own as well. I don't have any 'well known top 100' GW guilds that I can rattle off, but I spent a lot of my PvP time playing with Skull Crack (sK), Ups Ur Baed [baed]. Many of the players I played with included Angra, Divine Muse, Act X, Taoh Rider X, David the Hammer, Henchway, and some of the old members of KYSG. I could go on and on, but regardless of where I was within a guild, people looked to me to fill in and help out, knowing that I would play well, regardless of whom I was with.

How did you hear about the Guild?
I watched your podcast and realized you guys were a guild. Hearing you talk about the game made me feel like I was a part of a good group of people again... I'd love to be a member!

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Gloriousness!!! Fabulousness! Snarkitude! (Are these even a words...?) In all seriousness, I will bring a competitive spirit and a fresh view on gameplay. In anything I do, I try to learn as much as I can. I can come off as being a know-it-all to some, but only because I want to impart the knowledge where I can be helpful! I can be very chatty, and charming, but serious in the same regard. When it's time for business... it's all business. All in all, I thrive on helping new players learn and excel. I'm not always the best player, but I'm hardly shabby and I love to guide and mentor, once I know the ropes.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
At the moment, none of my past guilds have mentioned any comebacs for GW2 sadly, and this bear is looking for a new home! I don't plan on joining any other serious guilds.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
People know me as Bear/ Daddy Bear. I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggonnit, people like me!

(At the time of this application, my computer is in the process of a rebuild. After 5 long years of waiting, I am in agony and am anxiously awaiting the release date and hoping my system is up and running for launch day!!!)

Ahh, another know-it-all kinda guy. I see you become my lackey very quickly. Plus all you other MUDders out there are making me feel... Nostalgic.
+1 on my end.
