ALTTABME City - Membership List and Theorycraft

I'd like to be added to the region. After looking around I want to try to focus on something like an ecological trade city. Maybe something with recycling plants, wind farms, etc take all the crap from everyone else and do something with it then trade the byproducts.
 
Apparently there is word of a third, unrestricted beta tomorrow for 4 hours. If only we knew someone on the inside with keys...
 
Good thing I don't care one way or the other about Sim City. Otherwise I would be mad about no invite and/or stupid work tomorrow.
 
There is an extremely short beta tomorrow. We are doing one last stress test of the servers before launch.

For the AltTabMe region, im will to play whatever city the region needs. Just let me know once everyone is in and has an idea of what they are thinking of doing. Maybe the first region should just be a mess around region while everyone learns the ropes?

I agree! I think we should just experiment with our cities for now. If someone already knows that they want to dig up coal, they should get a lot that provides the resources - but aside from that, I don't want anyone to feel that they can't build the type of city that appeals to them the most, only because someone already "called dibs" on it.
Once we've gotten the hang of the game and we feel like we can get more out of it if we start over again, we can still do that!

I will definitely be watching the live stream when the game launches and am curious to see how SimCity 5 - AltTabMe Region unfolds. I will most likely be a part of that nether region that Tristan will create for 'old people who don't know what they are doing' after they get their feet wet in this new version. Trust me... I am worse than the Godzilla like creatures that can destroy entire continents, and probably more effective at it in my 'ignorance is bliss' sort of way. :)

You're not getting out of this that easily - we have one more open spot in our region, and it's yours! Trust me, this is a pretty laid-back game, you don't need to worry about how good you are or if you're possibly making mistakes that will utterly ruin your neighbors' cities. It's just not that type of game.
Consider our first region the 'people who don't know what they are doing' area and you'll be in the same mindset as the rest of us, :)

Jia you are a sweetie! But actually after watching all the videos and talking to Tristan (who I like to naturally torment lol <3) I decided to hold off playing for now mostly because I am working a lot and don't have the time i would like to invest, and really I think it would stress me out to do all of that urban planning when all I want to do is hang out at zakis' casino! Lol but I thank you for thinking of me! :)
 
Hopefully, I'll be able to play a bit for this last beta. I actually got an invite for the last one, but I didn't see the email in time. /fistshake
 
I had a key for the last two betas (if you got one for the first one, it carried over), but I haven't gotten an email, and when I check Origin, it's not on my list of games. /confused

Edit: By the way, my Origin ID is Zevrix
