Wildstar 4th Dominion Race (un-official)

So someone grabbed this screenshot at some point during PAX, and based on previous evidence, seems likely it could be the 4th race:

Sorta confirmed in this video as well "nameless race, that... you get a quest from right here"
(Skip to 8:25, I coulnd't link the exact spot for some reason)


Hilariously, the quest seems to be you riding an explosive-packed rhino around in order to find poachers to explode, all while avoiding other 'horny' rhinos
 
Great catch. As for the Exiles it has long been speculated that their 4th race is some form of undead.
 
It's funny- somehow I knew that the 4th race would look pretty much exactly like that. I don't know how I came to that conclusion, but I'm a little weirded out now. *ponyerr:
 
I was expecting something slightly more.. evil looking, but definitely something small and fluffy. Honestly, was just picturing Gizmo most of the time :)

What??! That thing is pure evil, it distracts you from its plotting, evil-genius mind with adorable cuteness.
 
Hmm. Saw the info on the possible kinda-likely-un-official exile race. Now I'm even more torn than before.
I kinda still want dominion though. Will still wait until they officially announce them.

Yet another reason to choose Exiles over Dominion!!! I love undead things!!! Yet they give me nightmares. *ponydurr: I'm so conflicted!!!
 
I didn't even hear about the undeads till now...

Also, have we (collectively, or not) discussed which race we'll be playing? Just curious if more people are leaning one way or the other

You mean faction? No not yet. Kinda waiting to see the final races and take a stab at beta(hopefully).
 
Ya, wait till we at least see beta and what each offers us. We will decide closer to actual launch.
 
If that is a Dominion race then chances are everyone is leaning towards Exiles. Really can't wait for beta. There was mention from one of the lead devs on one of the PAX vids about beta next month. I would expect to see some news on that next week.
 
I think its awesome that the Dominion (evil) get little fluffy bunny creatures, while the Exile (maybe good?) get undead.

But either way, I look forward to Off-Tank duties (I simply pay too little attention to MT :) )
 
Ya'll are insane. If that thing is Dominion it'll just make me want to go Dominion more. I guess I'll just have to rebel!

It's not like the exile races are bad, at least. I'm looking at you, WoW Alliance. You're lucky you got Draenei.
 
Curt, I'm with you, I can't take any more pseudo-Alliance nonsense anyways. I've got no problem sword-n-boarding with a tiny rabbit of doom.

Honestly the only races that I like so far are the Mechari. The humans are standard issue, but I really don't care for any of the other races at all. So I'm firmly in the Dominion camp as well.
 
Honestly, I'm not that torn on them. The humans are basically the same, though I slightly prefer the highfalutin Cassians.
The Granok and Draken are the next rough equivalents. Granok are sorta like more violent, more ass-kickin' Tauren, and Draken sound and look a helluva lot like Charr. So again I feel kinda close but also prefer Draken.
Mechari and Aurin I don't care for either.
Assuming the last races are undead and fluffy evil bunny things, my gut tells me to go with the fluffy evil bunny things. I secretly hope that they're like Asura. That would seal the deal.

As for the straight-up factions themselves, I couldn't care less but for reason I feel that the Dominion architecture/settings/areas/quests/NPCs would be more interesting, though the Exiles' would be more humorous.
