My name is Tristan aka tr1age
(You Pronounce my name http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/pronunciation/british/triage [tree-ahzh] )

I created this site when I left Blizzard Entertainment so I could still be connected with all my gaming friends but also so there was a safe place for gamers to be themselves and not fall victim to the negative aspects of the gaming culture.

Before this site I ran a similar site called Popelimited.com, Zakis was a member and knows it oh too well. It was Facebook before it was around.

Then we made AltTab.ME which still exists. But sadly it didn't have the same interest behind it and we coded it complicated as fuck.

So AltTabMe.com was created first as a place where I could "Live the American Stream" but then turned into much much more as we utilized it for our gaming community for GW2 ultimately realizing banking off the success of a video game was a poor choice if we wanted people to stick around and evolving into what you see here today!

I think out of all the things on this site "Achievements" are the thing I find to be the coolest.

I just always seemed to have a camera in my hand. I enjoy making those moments last. Back when someone used to bust out the 35 mm film and such people would stop pose and make memories, now people say PUT IT AWAY and it drives me nuts. I like to capture those moments of life. However I cannot shoot landscape to save my life, if I can't talk to it I can't shoot it. I love the personal aspect of it. I love the ability to get something out of someone I just met by trying to figure them out within minutes before a shoot. I also love the interactions and friendships it builds. However I hate old school film, I only really started loving it when it went digital and I could see the results immediately.

Busy, intense, really nerdy, no social life, got very fat due to eating like shit, when I got back into shape it was hard to balance desk time with work time and workout time, fun, exciting, adventurous, lots of traveling, rockstars without the personal acknowledgement, competitive, revenge of the nerds except everyone wanted to be the winner, sexist, racist, homophobic..... basically imagine a cooperate environment that is run by adults who are still kids. It makes for one hell of a ride. I loved it, but it didn't fit me anymore. However I would recommend it to anyone who absolutely LOVES games. If you don't love games, including the darkest recessed D and D game, you will not fit in. You will feel secluded, and you will not be happy. You eat live sleep and breath gaming there, so if you even have a doubt in how much you love games, you will find out if you TRULY love games soon enough. There is a reason they called the wife of any Blizz employee the Blizzard Widows.
 
Have you looked into Overwatch at all and are you getting a little hyped for it? I know how much you like shooters.
 
Who are the worst kind of people online? Eg. Trolls, Flamers, People who use swear words, Gyoin...

Now that you are super famous (as evidenced by http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4229786/ ), what are your plans to capitalize on it? How about a sequel? Newlywed in NYC? Or maybe Dumped in the Bronx for a darker turn?

Seriously though, what's the next project?

All the things, but mostly Gyoin. I just dislike people who promote hatred because they think it is acceptable. Treat others the way you want to be treated etc.

It was very hard in the beginning, but as the site has evolved many of the people involved such as Topic who started this amazing AMA session, have taken the tools we provided to make the site truly shine. it is never just one person's responsibility. As well the Mods have helped me with all decisions and drama llamas that come up sometimes. It keeps me sane. Game and fitness are two different things, Fitness always takes priority in my life, I consider it as ingrained in my daily life as waking up is.

Pizza and Pasta. I don't read. All the chick flicks, but probably Terminator 2, watched it 17 times in a row as a kid. Alice Madness returns. The camera you have with you. Adobe Suites. Alice from Alice Madness returns.

No sequel. My business plan is very much unique in that I offer multiple services and don't focus on just ONE thing. I focus on 2-3 things. But all of those things mix amazingly well together: Romance, Dance, Passion, Strength, Fashion. Nothing beats the Juxtaposition of the strength and form of a ballerina in a beautiful fashion statement. I was tired of working in the Agency world where right off the boat models held the arms of older disgusting men at dingy clubs. I like networking at the ballet now :)

The next project is actually a secret. It is something that DOESN'T exist on YouTube magically. So I am pitching it to major labels.

Tell me what it is you think you would bring to the table. I am actually expanding the business over the next 2 years exponentially so always looking for talented people to bring on board.
