hey guys. Im so sorry i have been absent from here. My desktop at home took a giant dump last week and boot camp for my mac decided that it wanted to stop working. So I have some good news and bad news. (mostly good but I will start with bad.)

Bad News. I couldnt get the rewards sorted out for our first tourney. Hi_rez took their sweet ass time getting back to me...we're taling 5 weeks response time....literally. BUT! What we will do is use our placements here in the open tourney to determine Seeds for the next one...

What next one you say?

Good News: First...my computers are fixed....and I got a kickass gaming headset from my wife....
Secondly: Hi-rez FINALLY got back to me and I will post their reply:

"Thanks for being patient and I apologize for the late response. For now these are the things I need:

Rules
Format/Mode
Stream Location (if streamed)
Website (Where people will sign-up/Find info about your tournament)
Gem Prizing will go like this:

1st place - 800 gems (per player)
2nd place - 400 gems (per player)
3rd place - 200 gems (per player)

In order to receive gem prizing week by week, you'll need a minimum of 8 teams signed up, however we give new tournaments a week or two of leeway to get started.
Once you've ran your tournament I'll need you to e-mail me the Brackets, VOD (Twitch or Youtube), and the in-game name of the players and where they placed. Once that's sent I'll input the gem prizing through our support system and send you an e-mail back with confirmation/notification if a players name wasn't found.

SO! as you see, there is quite a LOT of potential for some serious rewards coming our way!!!! I did a jig when i saw the rewards for placements! So all we need is a streamer. COUGH CRAKE....[DOUBLEPOST=1412363452,1412363261][/DOUBLEPOST]Remy is an alternate so I will fill him in to the brackets in both 2s and 3s tentatively. If those teams dont work out, the opposing teams will get a 'by'.

Thats is awesome. I think we are a weeeeee bit under the 8 team minimum BUT i think with the prizes we can hold monthly tournaments and get a larger player base. The first tournament should be more focused on making sure we can make it as smooth and efficient as we can. People don't like to wait.

2s - double elimination.First matches are: Dup and Panda vs Simpwn and Baldo - Winner faces Sheeld and Dainjre
Luckster and Jamdin Vs Zorph and Mr Boston - Winner faces Cameron and Remy
Winners and losers brackets are to follow (I have a nice bracket-ologist paper right here). Remember this phase is double elimination so you have to lose twice before your out! Good Luck!

3s - Single Elimination - to save time I changed this to single elim so we aren't up til 4 am.
First matches are Dup etc VS Panda etc. and Boston etc VS Zorph etc.

Only problem is I will be in the tourney....but maybe next one. That would be a great way to get others outside our merry alttabme circles to perhaps come join in our tourneys. CANNONFODDER!
