What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I work from home, which leaves me with a lot of free time, so I plan on playing a lot, especially for the first few months.

I want to experience everything. GW2 is such an amazingly vast game that it would be an extreme disservice, to myself and to ArenaNet, to limit myself to any one specific aspect of the game. In WoW, I generally focused either solely on PvE or solely on PvP. Looking back, it seems like an archaic gameplay style.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
My love of online PC gaming really grew to fruition with Diablo II and Warcraft III. I would spend hours every day after school playing them with my friends and family. Naturally, I picked up WoW at launch and fell in love with the MMO genre. I played WoW fairly steadily from launch up until the release of Cataclysm, when the "staleness" began to hit me. During my WoW career, I played just about every major MMO to release, my favorite being Guild Wars. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, that I ended up purchasing the Nightfall and Factions expansions and eventually the GWEN expansion when it released. More recently, I spent several months in the SWtOR universe, but it just wasn't different enough from WoW to hold my interest, let alone get my $15 per month.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I've always felt guilds to be an essential part of the MMO genre. Guilds provide a structured environment in which gamers may get to know each other while socializing and having fun playing the game. Were it not for guilds, I would never have met some of the people I now consider to be close friends, both "IRL" and in-game.

During my time playing WoW, I was an officer of several "hardcore"; PvE guilds and a couple of PvP guilds.

How did you hear about the Guild?
I visit MMO-Champion on occasion, and while perusing through the forums, I came across a recommendation to check out a nice new video podcast. I've watched them all and after months of searching through guild websites and doing research, this guild seems to be the most like-minded that I've seen thus far.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I fancy myself a very skilled and experienced gamer and my WoW career would agree. However, I do not believe that skill, in and of itself, is enough to merit an invitation. I could be the most skilled player on the planet, but if I'm an asshole, who's going to want to play with me? You also have to be friendly, patient, respectful and courteous. These are traits which I try my utmost to display at all times. I firmly believe that this mentality is the primary reason I was always so attractive as an officer candidate in my WoW guilds.

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I also plan on joining the MMO-Champion guild for purely social reasons, but would likely represent Arcanix exclusively.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I've struggled with dyslexia my entire life, so please forgive any awkward sounding mannerisms and spelling errors that I may have missed. =P

If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know and I'll respond as soon as I get a chance!

I'm inexplicably excited for Guild Wars 2 and look forward to your decision. Can't wait to see you all in game, whether I am accepted or not!
