I'm curious, what games are you guys looking forward to this year?

On the top of my list are a few games that I wish I could play right away:

Arma 3 (2013)

Not sure what to expect, since I was quite disappointed with DA2. As much as I liked DA:O, I never even bothered to finish playing DA2.
But hey, they're using the Frostbite 2 engine, which certainly sounds intriguing.

Shadowrun Returns (Q2)

I've played many, many hours of the P&P RPG this game's based on, so I'm hoping that it turns out well!

Fortnite (2013)

A coop-survival game where you build shelters that protect you from zombies(?).
Coop makes it sound interesting!

Really liked Crusader Kings II, let's see what Paradox does with this game!

Aliens: Colonial Marines (Feb)

The first time I heard about this one a few years ago, I was very excited, due to its multiplayer (coop) aspect. By now I've seen enough gameplay footage to be turned off by the game (in its early stages I was thinking "Aliens" the movie, but now I'm seeing just another generic shooter with hordes of relatively harmless aliens), so it's very likely to slip off my list. But I'll wait for a few reviews before I decide whether I should pass on this one or not.

Watch Dogs (2013)

Everyone was talking about this game after E3. It looks awesome, but is the gameplay really as versatile as the videos make us believe?





What about you? Are there any upcoming games that you're particularly interested in?
 
From the makers of Witcher 2. I'm not totally sure when it will be out, but I heard about this game a while back.

 
I am really excited for the new sim city too. To work together with friends and to work against my cousins is gonna be fun as hell! Shit throw live multiplayer into any PROPERTY building game and you got me.
 
It's supposed to be an RPG based on the tabletop game. Not much has been said about the game, however it seems to have a diverse weapon and class selection. I'd keep an eye on that game for now, since E3 is just around the corner. Reminds me a lot about Ghost in the Shell.
 


Also, Sim City!!!! SO excited! Some of those others linked I haven't looked at, so trailer watching time!
 
I bought a wii U for 3 reasons. Mario. Zelda. And most importantly, Smash. I have mario, now just waiting for the other two. Sadly 2014 is looking like the year.

Also, I will take on anyone in brawl. srsly. fuck you all I will decimate anyone in brawl. And melee. And maybe original...... I mean... Who didn't play pikachu in the original and auto win....

Ever since 64. I loved Melee and played that thing to death. Every day when I spare at high school me and a group of my friends play tournaments at one of their houses. I am a serious Smash fan.

Pretty much this and Pikman 3/Rayman Legends. Can't wait for the new Zelda though. I heard the first dungeon is going to be as large as OOT's Hyrule Field alone. I imagine N's utilizing the 25G's per layer to it's full potential.

SimCity is one of my must-have games this year (along with Arma 3 and Day Z), so unless I start reading some bad things about it, I'll have it as soon as it's released!

Also, Brown: That trailer looks awesome! Of course I'm somewhat jaded when it comes to trailers, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this game. The name, the year and the setting just screams "Shadowrun" to me!
By the way, the devs announced that they will announce (announcing announcements... we live in strange times, eh?) another game that they've been working on in February - and rumor has it that they're talking about The Witcher 3.
 
I am starting to get into FPS a bit now, thanks to PS2 and my desire to stop sucking. Might have to check out BF4...I tried 3, but didn't really like the story...
 
Ah the story is lacking greatly. To be perfectly honest, it was ok but they aren't in the realm of making Single Player. Battlefield has almost always been a competitive online game, they decided to put a single player campaign for some reason.
 
That cyberpunk one looked pretty awesome but made me sigh/cringe when i saw "date due : when its ready" or whatever it said.
