I think what I like about this guy is he found a way to express what is blatantly obviously the human condition or at least the American condition in a way that is like a fool from Shakespeare: in your Face, yet as a jest so you don't take it personally if you just don't get it, and laugh with everyone around you.
I have been trying to figure out how to get the message across that I portray in my writing since I began writing. It is scary to think that he was truly troubled though by depression and the like and ultimately killed himself. Sometimes knowledge, especially on his level, of what is good for people and what isn't, being able to read into people so well, holds a very heavy burden. He knew some shit man. He also liked to talk and write in stream of consciousness which is my favorite type of writing.
The unoriginal originality. Inspiring through the simple idea of “I think that too!”, “I struggle there too”, “I want that too”, “I love too”. I have said before, we are, regardless of our achievements or fame, still looking to talk to others and connect with those around us, because at the end of the day and during, consists of just that, interactions, meaningless in an otherwise meaningful “idea” that is society. Figuring out a medium in which people will enjoy reading my 10 page hieroglyphics will be a challenge however.
