Comrades of the Resistance,

I will not lie to you, our last failed attempt to overthrow the corrupted government was a dire (mongoose) setback.
But now is the time for us to rejoice! I have hand-picked you all for your reputation as loyal members of the Resistance - and this time we shall not fail!

Yes, once again there have been rumors that there are two spies in your midst who will try to sabotage your missions. There is obviously a risk involved - but if you identify them quickly, and the majority of your missions are a success, then the Resistance will prevail!

Additional Rules, IMPORTANT:

• You are allowed to contact other players via PM - however you must always include your GM (me) in your conversations. This is merely for observational purposes, I will keep out of your conversations unless you address me directly.
• You are NOT allowed to use any type of screenshots of other private messages in your PMs, nor are you allowed to quote a person from another private conversation. You may copy/paste what they have (or haven't!) said, but you are not allowed to use the "quote" code, for example:

  Okay, you figured it out. I'm a Spy. But so what? Nobody will believe you anyway!

• We're playing with an experimental rule to see how well it works in the game: One of the Resistance members will be the Intel Specialist. After a successful mission (that he was a part of!), the Intel Specialist may choose another player whose identity he'd like to examine. He gains information on the examinee's loyalty (Resistance or Spy), but there is a catch:

While he will do his best to help his fellow Resistance members weed out the Spies, he must also keep his identity a secret at any cost. If the Resistance wins three missions, the Spies have a chance to win it all by assassinating (correctly naming) the Intel Specialist.​

Well, fellow team members, I'm going to attempt to allow some discussion as to whom I nominate for our first mission.

I'd like to suggest that the first team mission be run by Kismet (who can resist a sexy cloak, resistance OR spy?!) and Xiypher. Can anyone think of any reasons why my opinion should be skewed one way or the other? As acting leading of this 1st attempt, I'd appreciate any tidbits of information any other members may have obtained.

Are you a spy trying to confuse me out 'da gate?! Now I have to change my voting thought process... Jia, HOLD THE PRESS! I redact my previous vote for myself and Xi... and must consider the possibilities of me and the man with the light saber. I cannot assume just because it is green that he is a good guy. I agree.... I see a lot of deception going on right at the beginning. The man with the light saber shall have your back for this mission. We shall succeed. Chuck Norris is always a good guy and yes he knows things. Awesome things

They are spies and we burnt them before we started our new mission to free the empire! Now we have to look for the 2 slimy ones in our midst now.

Exactly. His amazing skills find the noob spys. Nothing about that says he is a spy. He is saying that YOU spys need more skills if you are going to beat the beard master.

Ya know... in our (Resistance) last attempt to foil the spies, I do not think we fostered enough conversation prior to teaming & completing missions. Therefore, I suggest a little 'meet & greet' before moving any further.

Drac, Xi, Baldo, Kel... why should I trust you?

As for me, you should trust me because I have that glamorous resistance cloak, I posted the "La Resistance" flag showing my unyielding commitment to the team, I stealthily uncovered the 'Chuck Norris calling out Noob Spy' graphic, and I taugh Jia a new word, "canoodler". What spy have you ever known in the history of all spydom to use such a deliciously savory word? Not even James Bond... and he had a license to kill. Did you know that is what "007" stood for? A spy with a license to kill.

At this point I trust (or distrust) everyone pretty equally since there's nothing to go on. I plan to stick to my guns and do things like last time. I DID have everything figured out, but I didn't talk with the right people and didn't stick with my correct impressions.

So I'm gonna talk more this time. If I had sent T1G the PM I sent Kismet last game, that could have made a HUGE difference.

and for all you spies out there, I'm NOT the intel guy.
