(Minor Spoilers)
Alrighty guys, Rented Saints Row 4 this past weekend and thought i'd give you my thoughts on it. It is a butt loads of fun. The end. I kid i kid. But yes it is a really great game, some really funny storylines. You get to romance pretty much your whole crew and a flying robot eyeball which was... slightly awkward.
Remember those cars you loved customizing and riding around? Well they are still there except with the superpowers you can travel further and faster than a car so i pretty much never drove a vehicle unless it was for a mission. I customized a few cars and they still looked wicked.
The hacking minigame is used a lot to unlock stores to purchase goodies but the game itself is a repeat of the Bioshock place the tubes game and is kinda redundant.
The clothes, oh the clothes, the are so many clothes and colors in this game I changed a dozen times till i found the right look. I started off as a cowboy, bet you couldn't guess that one but then I went with the Neo (once you play it you will understand my reference) look but with white instead of black.
The controls (Xbox) were smooth and i didn't have a problem adapting in-game. The one thing that always gets me since i only use one finger on the back buttons is, when you are in a vehicle you go with the right trigger button and shoot with the right bumper. Just my play style makes that awkward and i am to lazy to change up the control schemes(which you can do).
Next, weapons. There are quite a bit of weapons and pretty much already unlocked at the beginning. There are quite a bit of ridiculous weapons in this game. (See video, WARNING Not my Character)
After 5 days of playing and actually rushing the storyline at multiple points i still haven't finished the game and am about halfway through from what the game tells me so there is A LOT of content in this game and will probably rent if not own this game next time i play.
