What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
To be honest. I'm the type of player who'd rather sit in town and talk over do anything else. That's what I've done in the past mmo's I've played. Not saying I dont get out and do stuff. I only just about anything. I love to pvp with friends, even if I die all the time and never have good gear. Same goes for pvp, trying to kill those big, bad bosses. I've never rp'd in an mmo, but I am always up for trying!
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Well, don't laugh, but the main mmo I've ever played would have to be RO. And that has been on and off since I was around 12. I was never some huge player who camped the mvps.
I also played Aion for about a month. I spent most of my time trying to figure out which outfit I liked the best lol. I think I really only got up to level 20.
My cousin tried his best to get me into WoW. I played for a couple days and quit. It wasn't really my style.
And I've tried just about every other mmo out there. If it was free to play and I was bored, I downloaded it, give it a shot, and quit because it bored me.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was part of a guild when I played RO, and I loved it. It was small, and extremely casually. We would get on, talk in town, go fail at killing mvps, share our gears, and other small guild type stuff. We were a tight community and I really miss it. But life happens and people move on.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Reddit posted up your "Why you WONT like gw2" video. I listened to it as background noise, and decided I liked the way you guys acted. So I followed your link and here I am.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
idk. I'll bring myself? I'm rather talkative I guess. Mostly I add some random input and go back to doing something. Other times I'll get interested and stick around for the conversation. I'll bring someone you can make fun of, as I do a lot of dumb stuff, and from my experience people find it easy to mock me lol. I enjoy communities, and I love to help out. Back in my RO days, I'd always follow new players around on my high priest, buffing them, because I'd rather do that then go join a party to a hard dungeon. I'm a really laid back person, so you can expect no drama too. And I might be able to make you laugh?
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
No. I understand and respect the one week for full membership. And I'd do that happily. But other friends I make might be in other guilds, and I'd join them if they asked. It just depends on the day and who I feel like talking too. You can expect me to either be afk in mumble or on the website lurking all the time.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I'm a shy person? I do have a mic, but I don't always like talking because of various reasons. Not saying I wont and if you need me to speak I can. I do skype with people a lot and that might get in the way of speaking. But like I said, if I'm needed to speak I can and will. Just not 100% of the time.
I also understand you guys are capped. And if you feel like you want to accept me into your guild, I'm totally fine waiting until the game is released. I just wanted to make a sort of introduction post. As you don't have a place on the forum to introduce yourself I thought this would be the next best thing.
