Passive 3D Gaming Monitor

Any of you guys have any experience with these? better or worse than active? considering prices....

I have been pondering over selling my PS3 and getting one to play the epicness of GW2...

I'd personally be hesitant to play a MMO in 3D due to eye fatigue, even passive 3D (if you play for hours on end like I do ). I'd put the money towards a really nice standard monitor.
