What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I'm mostly a PVE person and I loooooove being casual and social, I don't get out much so it's nice to know I have people on the computer to talk to even if it's not always about video games. I will occassionally PvP and WvW. I love to do things as a group and with other people. I do hope to improve my skills and play some more PvP and WvW. I'd love to be able to play it all and I'm excited there is a guild that has people interested in every aspect of the game and people I can learn from.
I would probably like to remain as part of PvE community but I'm a fan of change and I don't mind switching it up to other parts of the game once in awhile.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Other games I've played are Tibia (since about February of this year) and League of Legends (since about December of last year). I've played GW2 pretty much every waking moment since it came out, to the point where I practically forgot I had a child (I kid, lol). I've just been really addicted to this game and I'm definitely excited to try more games like this or even something different than it. It seems a lot of people in this guild play a wide variety of these games and I'm always willing to try something new out!
I've also played a variety of games on the playstation and xbox. Just recently got into a different genre of computer games before any of these MMO's it was pretty much the Sims and Tomb Raider xD
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was in a guild with some RL's on a different server, I'm actually part of Yak's Bend now. In the beginning the experience was really good, there was a lot of people on but as of late it's come to the point where a lot of the time it's just me and maybe one or two others. I can be quite the talker at times I admit, lol. Most of the people stopped rep-ing the guild and it became practically impossible to make a dungeon run, PvP, WvW, or anything in a group as a guild.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I mentioned to Rux how I was considering finding another guild and explained to her why and that's when she told me about how awesome and involved this guild is in everything and referred me to this website to check it out and see what you guys were all about.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
One of the most things I will bring to the guild will probably be chatty and helpful. I may not know everything about the game but I am always willing to help people understand something better or do something if I have the opportunity. If it is one thing I learned about the GW2 community in general is that there are a lot of really helpful people who go out of their way to help me and I'd love to return the favor to others =] Once, in awhile I can give people a good hoot about something xD
I'm not really all that skilled at PvP but I feel like I might be a little helpful in the PvE world as far as some skills go. I've played a couple of other chars... I made a Ranger and a Mesmer and I also plan on trying the others out in PvE as well so my knowledge won't be so restricted to an Elementalist.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Arcanix will be the guild I represent and it will be my main guild. I will only stay part of my other guild for keeping in touch with my RL friends.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I'm pretty much on every single day. I don't work but I do have a daughter that sometimes I have to care for xD She goes to Preschool 4 days a week so I'm usually always utilizing that time to be on GW and after she goes to bed. Sometimes I live off of very little sleep for this game, lol.
I cannot even write in words how excited I am to hear about such an involved guild. Rux told me a bit about your auctions, podcasts, and stuff that go on and that sounds really fun and exciting... but most of all I'm really excited to take place in dungeon runs, PvE-ing with others, and hopefully expanding my knowledge of PvP and WvW. ^_^
