GW2 LFG Tournaments

I'd really like to do some tournaments were everyone is on mumble. It's not critical to me if it's a free or payed ones. I don't mind if the people I'm playing with feel like they are pvp pros or newbs, just willing to play along with the strategy we end up with.

I think we should try to pick a weekly time that works for those interested and have a weekly event (similar to WvW) where we have a team or more do some tournaments. For me it would be anytime Saturday, Sunday after 3 eastern, or a weekday after 8 eastern.

You may find me idling in the spvp channel on mumble, drop if you'd like to do something (spvp or otherwise).

(*Poke Strange* spvp practice would also count)
 
I would love to once I stop moving and get some stable internet. Mentioned it briefly in the meeting and will totally be down or this on a regular basis. For this weekend, sadly, I will be able to attend as that is moving weekend.

No worries. I'd like to focus on the long term. I'd really like to organize something where we can play touraments regularly with guildies semi-organized on mumble.

Also to add. I know there is a LFG section of the forum but this is more to spur our spvp talks to come back up since the free tournaments are in the game now which should give a lot more people accessibility to easily organized pvp action. For those who do not know it's 5 vs 5 (if you don't have a full group of 5 you can get randoms assigned) and you don't have to worry about being stuck on someone else's team like before.
 
Yeah, I've tried a couple of Pug tourneys and they're relatively crap. Everyone is playing them since the reward is "better" and you get something even if you win just once. Problem is, an organized team is rofl-stomping the pugs and baddies get nowhere. I would love to join a somewhat dedicated group, even if it's like 3-4 consistent and always bringing in a new person or something.

Also, I have all 8 classes so I can fill any gap with some time and preparation.
