Well long story short my motherboard a 890GXM-G65 I bought about 2 years ago or so...
My system has been randomly freezing, at first I suspected my ram because its specced @1.9v and the mobo specifies 1.5v ram so... yeah, but today it crashed like... 4 times in a row not recognizing my mouse and now it seems to have forgoten its integrated network port RJ45 at all... as in not only drivers, windows says there is none to be recognized.... sad story.
I'm suspecting the chipset is going downhill from here so its time for a new mobo/ram combo.
My cpu is a Phenom II X4 965BE deneb 95w i believe and my options are these locally:
ASRock 970 Extreme3: $127
ASRock N68-VS3 UCC: $51
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P - 3.1: $65
after looking at these... i can't make a pick.. price/performace, as i dont have any USB 3.0 devices it doesn't do much for me to have it atm, besides i'll probably buy a couple of corsair ram sticks 1600 DDR3.
which one should i pick? please bear in mind I'm in no way rich so this will have to come from my monthly budget so i'd rather not go the expensive way unless it really makes a big difference. Thanks.
