I have followed the site for a little while now and I really like what I've seen. I want to get more involved with AltTabMe so I figured I would start with an introduction. My name's Joe, and I'm a 23 year old IST major finishing up my degree at Penn-State New Kensington. I commute from home which is about 35 minutes east of Pittsburgh, PA.

My dad introduced me to video games before I could walk, and I have been playing ever since. I've played mostly shooters but got into WoW after high-school. That lasted a couple years, but now I just play whatever I find interesting while I wait for a new MMO I want to dedicate my time to. Currently it has mostly been LoL, BF3, and a bit of Smite. I'm going to start getting on Mumble if anyone's interested in playing something, and I'll definitely be on for BF4 next week.
 
Ive seen you lurking about before. Glad you finally posted an introduction! Looking forward to playing BF4 with you!
 
You like anime if I remember correctly! Officially welcome I guess, you seem like a cool guy.

Ya, I have only just gotten into it though, someone gave me a list of anime I should watch so I started with those. I'm looking for a good dark/serious anime, any suggestions?

Besides the obvious of Death Note...
I liked Berzerk (warning here, it's pretty fucked up), but you'll want to watch the OVAs instead of the series probably.
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and all the other ones after that... nothing can beat this.
Basilisk is good, but the plot is basically Romeo and Juliet with ninjas, as a warning.
Shingeki no Kyojin, also known as Attack on Titan... as Crake put it though, it's angsty, but it's very good.
Nabari no Ou, this is about clans of ninjas fighting, but it's more drama/seriousness. It was amazing though, I loved it.

The only one I have been watching is Attack on Titan so I guess I should start with Death Note. Thanks!
