Alright, it aired last night. This is my pre-emptive attack to let people talk about shit HERE and not other places on the site (as I have yet to see the first episode of the new season).

Im interested to see how they plan on bringing Jesse back out of his current state of mind. Are they just going to have it that he eventually comes through as time progresses or im curious as to what type of event will take place that makes him come out of his current slump.

I wasn't expecting the confrontation between Hank and Walter to get started so soon... Exciting that's for sure. Now I just can't imagine what all we have in store for the next 7. I was expecting last 8 to be all about Hank vs Walter of course and then all the shit tons of family drama that ensued but then also that big mafia/cartel group that all rolled up in the trucks last season don't know if there's a name for them. The whole deal was that Walter make them 35% of 130+ million... Suddenly he wants out? His contact from Madrigal said she's only getting 68% yield so I'm assuming he has someone else cooking low grade crap in his place at the moment? I'm expecting all out war to break out between these guys and Walter.

As for the infamous Breaking Bad teasers they like to throw on the first few minutes of every episode every week... His cancer is back, he looks like shit, it's obviously months later(although probably less than 6 cause he mentioned to Hank that's how long he has to live). Heisenberg is on the wall and his neighbor is scared shitless so his actions and name are obviously national news at this point. I'm hoping they can surprise us all but right now(and maybe this is their intention of deception) it's looking like Walt is going out in a 50 caliber blaze of glory in his last days near death.

If it was a full season, I can see that it'd be too early. But we are technically already HALF WAY THROUGH THE FINAL SEASON. There's only like 6 more episodes or something. It had to start now. I just can't wait until it all pans out.

I miss Mike...watching any episode just reminds of how much I want to see the OTHER bad ass bald guy who deals drugs and whacks people all in the name of family.

Not gonna lie, Mike was one of my favorite characters. was

I have to admit that I was completely lost during Jessie's "(ricin) cigarette pack revelation" scene. I vaguely remembered Jessie stressing out because he thought he inadvertently poisoned his love interest's son back in season X, but wow... my memory's never been the best.
If you sat there trying to remember those episodes from a few seasons past that would make sense of it all, this article explains it to you. It helped me put all the pieces back together again!

You don't remember the Roomba?! And the "flower of the valley" or w/e that Walt had by his pool at the end of the episode (showing that Walt had poisoned the kid and made the entire scenario possible, making Jesse trust Walt and turn on Gus)? That was a HUGE character development moment between the Walt and Jesse relationship.
