I know everyone has their eyes set on GW2 right now, but Borderlands 2 will see its release in mid September. I'm curious, is anyone here planning on playing it?

I've had it on preorder for ages now, so I'll probably end up splitting my time between playing this and GW2. At least until I grow bored with B2, *ponydee:​

I’m sure the question on how to read the timezones would come up sooner or later, so here are a few examples on how to do the math:

Example 1:
If you're UTC-6 and you want to play with someone from UTC+3: You're 9 hours apart (UTC-6 + 9 hours = UTC+3), and the person living in the UTC+3 timezone is ahead of you in time (9 hours). So your 12pm is their 9pm.

Example 2:
You’re living in the UTC-5 timezone and you want to play with someone in the UTC-6 timezone.
UTC-5 -1 hour = UTC-6
The other person is one hour behind you in time (since -5 is a higher number than -6), so your 12pm is their 11am.

Im all over this. I have the first one and all of its expansions on PS3. The question here is will there be guildies playing it regularly
I havent pre ordered yet but i got the original because i have a couple of R/L friends that Corvus and i play with occasionally. If we have some guildies playing it a lot though ill pre-order on steam

I just picked up the first a couple of weeks ago, and I've really enjoyed it so far. I'll probably be picking this one up, unfortunately it will probably be for the PS3 since my computer makes me cry when I play modern games on higher settings. I was going to build a new one, but I kept spending all of my money on useless things like a new TV and my ex-girlfriend.

I absolutely loved the first borderlands and am definitely going to be picking up Borderlands 2. I have the first one for Xbox 360, but I think this time I'm going with the PC version. But like Zakis I might pick up a console version later.

I played Borderlands 1 through more times than I can count... it is that good! So I will be picking Borderlands 2 up on PC, I just don't know when yet. Probably around December.

You and me both. Probably going to default to Guild Wars 2 most of the time simply because I plan on playing Borderlands 2 solo for my first playthrough. After that I might play it more regularly as my friends (slowly) acquire the game.
